      I haven't tried this myself, but Paramount claim that if you change plan while you are currently subscribed, they will pro-rata the charge based on your current plan. It's possible that if you subscribe to the Standard Plan with a discount, then switch to Premium on the same day, it'll calculate the pro-rata amount on the full amount of the Standard plan. It won't be a 50% discount, since you'll be paying ~$30 + $48.99 which will be about 40% off.

      I gave up on IPTV services after trying about 6 different ones.
      They’re always slow and glitchy, half the channels don’t work and the others are 720p with low quality audio.
      Hardly any sellers have Aus channels , or if they do its unreliable and theres no channel guide.

      Ive starting to think the only people praising IPTV services are the ones looking to make a few bucks via referrals/reselling.

        IPTV will always have glitches. It's the high seas of streaming on shoe string budgets. Some are pretty bad though, usually they are fly by reseller operations.

        I have been using a really good one the last 2 years. I noticed that when I started using a VPN and set my region to the UK it reduced the amount of freezing, etc. I am thankfully one that can say I haven't had issues.

    We've made good use of Paramount Plus to watch Yellowstone, Seal Team, Blue Bloods. Enjoyed Lioness after getting past the first couple of episodes (it's a bit different). Was enjoying Star Trek Strange New Worlds until the wife and kids dropped out. My son has indicated an interest in Beavis and Butthead that I'll gladly rewatch with him.

    Can you VPN the American paramount+ from this? I have Nord. Online seems to suggest yes but I was wondering if anyone had experience.

      I want to know too, that package include showtime as well. Wonder if you need VPN on to use the service not to mention they could kick you off and money wasted.

      Also I suspect the xontent can be different, like King of Cross may not be available.

      Unfortunately not.
      From past experience
      You will need a Paramount+ US subscription. only way I managed to do that was to create a US subscription and then purchase US paramount+ gift cards(can't remember from where) which I was able to load onto the account. It might have even been a 12month subscription voucher which you redeem.

      Also requires VPN to use

        I think fairly recently they may have changed this, but for a long time paramount+ in Australia only had stereo sound, whereas the show is in DD5.1 on Paramount+ in the US.

        Hard to support such bullshit practices.

    Last night it wouldn't go through but just tried now and it worked with 50% discount applied.

    I was having trouble getting the code to work from my phone as it was opening up the app and saying the code was invalid but private mode in the browser got around that nonsense.

    The Stremio discussion was good while it lasted and i see the point some of you are mentioning. However you do realise there is a illegal element in that platform.

    Don't know why people complain about the price, With Prime, Disney+ (3 month), Crunchyroll (Lbn pricing, about $18) and this. it equal to paying about $15 a month. You have all the content on you finger tips and no need to go through all the set up with Stremio. I think the deal is good.

    Its a shame there is no annual discount package on Apple Tv and Netflix.

    If you sign up through origin energy and get internet, cancel the internet (and keep or swap power providers if you don’t want origin), you still keep the bonus 12 months of paramount membership since it is a one time discount. (Don’t tell anyone though)

      Resolved via Paramount Plus support. Not sure what happened, might have been account take over or false positive fraud detection on Paramount's side 🤷
