G'day fellow OzBargainers.

This is our first post here at TrampolineWebAndWarehouse and we're very happy to bring it to you - Please be gentle :)

To set things off we have knocked $60 off our very popular 7x10ft rectangular trampoline. We are currently in transition to a new supplier and we are keen to clear out our discontinued stock to help create a Merry Christmas for those unable to afford the larger sizes.

This deal is to make room for our new stock and is purely until stocks last - At the time of posting we have 59 left.

This 7x10ft size has served us very well for the past 3 years and we are changing suppliers for some minor improvements to design and quality.

This trampoline includes everything you need to get bouncing (Netting, Padding, Mat, Frame & Ladder)

Hey Jv, Please do keep in mind that our trampolines are a largely different build quality to that which you would find in your typical department store.

Can you please explain this in detail as your prices are well and truly above the department store prices.

          G'day Dan76n,

First of all, We have noticed the majority of deparment stores stock round ones, and this particular one is rectangular. The differences between round and rectangular trampolines are quite big. Rectangle trampolines generally have thicker frames and in general have a sturdier build. With this said, it is hard to compare our rectangle to a round when the build quality and styles are very different.

The evidence is that we get alot of demand for spares within 12 months for the department store tramps, which they rely on you re-buying another trampoline rather than providing spares.

All of our trampoline specifications are listed on the product page. As we do not have a spec sheet of all the trampolines on the market, we cannot specifically list features that are greater or not, but in general here are some of the things to look out for.

Our net sleeves and padding are made out of a high quality extra thick PVC with a fine reinforcing weave. Our mats are USA woven high quality polypropolene. Our framing is hot dip double galvanised, inside and out with 2mm thick tubing. Our netting is a non laddering weave which means, if somehow a hole is torn it will not spread and get larger without a large amount of force. We also include ladders with all of our trampolines and stock all spares for our models.

Our trampolines are backed with our solid warranty of 3 Years for frame and Springs, 2 years for the Mat and Netting & 1 Year for our padding.

There is a place for the cheapest trampoline you can find, especially if the trampoline is kept indoors and only used by sedate users however for the majority of people they want more than this. There is really a big difference in quality when comparing to alot of the department stores trampolines.

There is a lot more detail I could go into, but if you have any more questions please let me know and i'll try my best to answer them.

          Thanks.

Is it? Seems pretty cheap compared to this one - http://www.trampoline-company.com.au/sale/rectangular/leapfr…

or this one (same company?) http://www.trampoline-warehouse.com.au/sale/rectangular/leap…

I had no idea you were so au fait with the going rates of trampolines, jv. Truly, an Ozbargainer of diverse interests.

      • Big W advertised a 9' round tramp a week or so ago for $140.

(Not that they ever have stock of anything that's on special!)

    • I don't know..
      if 7x 10ft trampolines are $355, then 1x 10ft trampoline would be $50.71. :D

      • Would you prefer 1 horse sized trampoline or 100 duck sized trampolines?

I prefer my trampolines for free…

Back in my day we didn't have protective netting around our trampolines, we just fell of and severly injured ourselves. And we LIKED it that way!

    • That was how my brother broke his arm… still one of my favorite childhood memories.

      • mine landed in rose bushes, nice thorns to go with it…

  • Toys r us often
Have half price "Action Sports" trampolines. Got my 12ft one last Xmas for $250

    • Hi Danstar,

Please refer to my post above in regards to comparing round and rectangular trampolines, and for some info on our specs.

If you've got any questions just let me know :)

  • K-mart 10' round is currently $179. Looks like it could have come from the same Chinese factory.

I have a bigger K-mart one. The mat and frame are good, but the netting is not UV-proof.

  • Hey OP

how does your netting/zip/closure stand up to extreme heat ?
we bought our tramp from an ebay seller in 2008 (in melb) and while the frame & mat are still good, the net & zip deteriorated in the extreme summer of 08/09 (frequent 40c+ days).

this seller thankfully had spare nets (we got the last one).

the tramp is looking tired and we are looking at alternatives - a rectangle one with a net is preferred.

    • Hi Vjknight,

To be 100% honest with you, as we are located in Geelong, we have not been able to fully test the heat resistance of our netting. Our trampolines have been on display for the around the past 2 years and have not had any issues with any kind of melting or deterioration of the material. We have had quite a few hot days in this time but nothing we have specifically monitored.

A better indicator would be that we have not had any complaints or issues in regards to heat & deterioration yet we have many happy customers up north where the temp can get quite toasty.

I hope that answers your question.

      • yeah last 2 years havent tested us melburnians.

the previous netting became almost brittle, and the zip & leather surrounds warped & cracked.
the replacement is identical and has had no such issues.

maybe send one to mildura for this summer and then report back :P

I bought this exact trampoline 3 years ago from this company - had great customer service and have been very pleased with the trampoline and the kids have given it a good workout (mats are now shot, but everything else still in great condition). Whether is it a bargain price, not sure because I have price compared recently - but definitely quality product, and rectangular in my (humble) opinion is more compact and neat in the smaller inner suburb backyards.

    • Hi Bg,

We are very pleased to hear kind words like yours and appreciate the feedback. As for the worn mat, we hope you have at least given it a run for its money! Please also remember that we stock spares for all our models (even discontinued models) and if you were looking to replace it we would be able to sort something out for you.

      Thanks

  • Hi Rep - we are in the market for a rectangular trampoline, but I was looking at the next size up - 12x8ft. I realise this isn't the one that you are doing the special on, but thought I'd check with you just in case you could do anything for me.

I was considering this one - http://topline-trampolines.com/index.php?option=com_content&… which looks to have pretty similar specs to yours - is made here, so not a cheap chinese import etc etc We are in QLD so could collect this one, so the total price including freight will also be a consideration of any other one that we look at.
    Thanks

    • G'day Saxlady,

As far as matching prices for a local pickup because of the weight of our trampolines, postage will be the defining factor in our ability to create a solution for you. Unfortunately we would be unable to beat that price with delivery included as delivery comes in at around $130 just to a Brisbane suburb!

Please do keep in mind, as far as we were aware, those models are actually Chinese imports and only the larger 'olympic' sized models are handmade in Australia. (otherwise that would be a very good price for the 8x12!) - Just something you may want to check before making the final decision.

      Sorry we couldn't help more!

      • Thanks anyway
