I know a similar post has been made about the iPhone 16 Pro Max; however, the PM may be too large for some (myself included). I’ve been eyeing the iPhone 16 Pro 256GB from Costco for weeks since its release, as Costco has the lowest marked price on this model, and Officeworks requires the item to be in stock for a price beat. I set reminders for all the color options—sometimes they’re in stock at 8:00 am but sold out by around 8:05 am, so it’s nearly impossible to rush to an OW store in time to get one.

However, the iPhone 16 Pro 256GB (Black, Desert, White) has been available all day today. So, I headed to the nearest OW store (North Ryde) and asked them to price beat. The final price came to $1,832.55 (receipt attached). I also paid with a gift card I got from the Aldi sale (10% off), so in total, I essentially paid $1,649.30 for the phone, which is a very, very good price. I hope my post can help anyone else who's after this particular variant.

    Call their price match number 1300 633 423 they did it all on the phone for me and I am going to pickup in store now it was seamless no need to show costco membership.

    @Bargaincue in true ozbargain style you actually got an extra $1 off there as the office works messed up by putting the Costco price as $1929.00 instead of $1929.99 mine was $1,833.49 discounted :D

Mine was approved literally instantly, received 2 emails at the same time - 1 saying they got my submission, another saying it was approved.

    I love the now discontinued iPhone Mini but I hate carrying around a bigger phone! Hope the SE4 is not as big as they say & is a mini replacement

    Having said that, absolutely nothing special about the iPhone at all except who's pocket you line with the app store or play store IMO and a G54 is every bit as good and the G85 is maybe a tad better than any iPhone at a fraction of the price

    Maybe I jumped the gun on this Costco price beat I got myself and wife for Xmas the i16 plus with 512gb for $1799
    I believe this pro would have been a better buy?
    Or not much difference from pro and plus.
    I know you get pro max but never knew you got pro without the max.
    Any idea what the pro has that plus dont or say how does pro compare to pro max.

    I purchased one a week ago, as per my previous post. However I’m going to get one also for my wife. Does Officeworks pricebeat if the item is showing as “in stock” however it’s not available at the local Melbourne store. However it’s showing as pick up available tomorrow. Does it have to be physically in stock at that store or in stock “ in general “ at officeworks? Anyone had experience with this?
    Also thinking of using a “myer” discount gift card ( through Macquarie marketplace). Has anyone had experience with using a myer gift card at Officeworks? Any dramas with the use?

            @discountdiva: Well checked Costco and said in stock. Checked Officeworks and online said delivery the next day. So raced to officeworks Epping to purchase. Had a chat to to their IT guy who said ok just go to the register and all will be good. However at the register the guy said that Officeworks now didn’t have that one in stock and couldn’t order it in. Maybe someone bought the last one before 9am when I got there. He said also if it was in stock at the warehouse it would have been ok. However just by chance the Epping Officeworks had a black one in stock at the shop. So I bought that and they price beat by 5%..Wasn’t to worried about the color just wanted pricebeat. Didn’t use gift cards , they seem to sell fast and I didn’t want to mess about and risk not getting one and being possibly stuck with the card.

                @discountdiva: No worries. Just for information for the future,what gift cards and card supplier did you use and did you purchase the gift cards while at officeworks or have them in advance. To me it seems that it’s not so easy to get instant officeworks discount gift cards.

    I just checked online and it seems that it’s not in stock in any colour at Costco. They seem to go into and out of stock at Costco very quickly, and when you are at Officeworks they will check then..if it’s not showing then on Costco website they will not price beat…Price match I’m unsure
