    I switched a while ago from the buds pro to xm4 and it was a massive improvement in fit, audio quality and noise cancelling. I've recently gotten the xm5 and that was also an improvement on the xm4.

      Currently own both Buds 3 Pro and this.
      Sound wise Sony is bit better.
      NC wise Sony is better.
      Phone call, Buds 3 Pro. Night and day.

        That's a shame, the phone call quality is something that is important because I have the buds 2 and they are garbage for sound and noise cancelling is mkay.

          @jaygee: I think it might be something related to bluetooth encoding and audio formats, but I could be wrong.

          My guess would be that Apple just has their shit together better regarding software/hardware integration to support both high quality one-way AND two-way bluetooth codecs, or something like that.

    You should probably add the Sennheiser Momentum TW4 to your list to compare. Best audio quality of them all and currently on sale for $299.

    Airpods Pro 2 have better ANC and transparency mode. Sound quality subjective but I think Sony's sound a bit better. Build quality I think favours the Airpods. Call quality also favours the Airpods.

    If you have an iPhone, Airpods can't be beat on value. If you have an Android go for the Sony's - Airpods use some secret codec that idk anything about which makes them sound way better on the iPhone. Not bad on Android but I think the Sonys have them beat there

  These are great but I had to buy replacement earbuds for them, the stock earbuds from Sony don't sit well and don't stay in the ear comfortably. I bought these sciu replacements, size M were perfect.
