LG 47LM6200 47" Full HD LCD 3D Smart TV $896 on JB Hi-Fi Website - edit now $761

170

47" Passive 3D under 1K - think it was the 42" i bought for 1200 on special a few months back (if that) so this 47 at this price seems pretty great…
I have the same modle - different size maybe, and i gotta say, im pretty impressed with it.

CEC, ARC, DLNA is fantastic, even my technophobe wife sends videos directly from her phone with ease…

streams movies from my win 7 PC without any real setup and detetcts different devices (PS3) eaisly in the input menu. basically CEC of the TV detects it, puts a picutre of it in the input list, when i select the PS3 it turns it on, the amp changes input and everything just happens, since i got this TV i havent had any need for my universal remote!

anyways… seems like a good TV at a good price… enjoy.

PS i hate excessive uppercase in title… its a FULL HD TV!!!

    • Thanks I'll add it to the main post…

yeah, its definitely got a hd tuner…

    • I like the 47LM7600 myself but this ones Good for that price!

  • Awesome deal, I've heard good things about Passive 3D and included 4 glasses is great too. No batteries, light weight and cheap to replace.

    • yeah, + you can get 2 dollar glasses from the cinema, we got heaps of 3d Glasses now…

add to that the play glasses are pretty good… gt5 is awesome with them…

  • I bought my 42" one for $677 from Dick Smith last weekend, then saw it priced over $1000 in HN. Very happy so far, only problem is I need to get an audio optical adapter for my wireless headphone

    • Got an amp that supports arc? (audio return channel)
you sure its the LM6200 3d modle?
      that seems crazy cheap…

  • Seems a nice price but only 1'year warranty.

    • manufacturers warranty… unfortunately that's how they have all gone now…

I remember asking the same when i bought mine. guess you always have the satutory waranty to fall back on.

  • $888 at Harvey Norman Nationwide

    • thanks will add to OP.

edit cant find it on there site?

  • Can someone confirm what formats the movie player can take?

From the LG website, it says:

Yes Movie (DivX) HD, Photo (Jpeg), Music (MP3)

So I presume no mkv, h.264 etc?

    • mine does, though its the 6700 model. pretty sure features are the same however the 6700 model is slightly more vibrant colour wise.

think as its streamed via DLNA, it will handle anything your PC throws at it…as far as usb goes, doing a search now…nothing definitive, but pretty sure it does…

    • DivX HD supports MKV container and H.264, if it is "DivX HD". Most smart TVs support MKV and H264 now. Even a $70 Sony Blu-ray player from Coles will do MKV H.264 from USB.

  • Just went and bought one from the good guys. $885.

    Thanks poster :)

  • For those who have bought this TV, please give a review?

    Thanks!

Today I used a screen shot from the Good Guys website of their $696 offer to get a $64 gift card as a post-purchase price match from JB Hi Fi in Bendigo having bought this TV from them for $760 on 16/12. The manager initially gave a few excuses (e.g. that price is below JB cost, but it's a boxing day sale price, etc) but I held my ground. I was happy with the card over cash as I'm sure to buy something from JB in the next two years before it expires. To celebrate the windfall I bought the Marquez guitar for $79 just listed on OzB. Love this time of year.
