2kg maximum load… guessing a 5D Mark II, 24-70mm and a 430EX would be too much?

Yeah wish it was 3 or 4kg max load, would totally snatch one up at that price!

2kg max load - good for P&S but not for dslr's.

For example a Canon 600D weighs 515g. Most lenses are under 1.5kg (except super zooms etc). For instance a canon 24-70mm ii f2.8 weighs 803g so your only at 1.3kg with this setup.

Add the weight of a video tripod head, audio recorder with a mount, etc.
Also, it is not a good idea to drive tripods to their limits as they get more unstable and prone to vibrations.

  Obviously not meant for a video tripod head, as it is A) a light weight travel tripod & B) already has a ballhead.
