  • I posted this a few weeks ago

    Edit, $50 cheaper i see

  • with this price, go for 60 or even 65" ~!

  • think my brother has this, he said standard speakers are terrible but who uses TV speakers anyway? 5.1 surround at least

  • Refresh Rate50/60Hz
i dont know how i like this for a 3d tv
still for non 3d, is a cheap deal

  • +1

Bought a 46" version, there was whitish faded 'spots' across areas of the screen.. have emailed them and they are taking forever to respond. I wouldn't recommend it - yes it is cheap, but for a hundred or two more you'll find comparable deals for branded ones (like from JB) that you'll probably have an easier time dealing with if there's a problem.

I feel quite bad because a friend wanted a TV and I said I'd be able to find them a good deal, and unfortunately these were the only ones available on OzB at the time. So now I feel responsible for recommending a dud - even if it was cheap, it definitely didn't end up being a bargain.

    Two cents!

    • Yeah we just got the same thing in a Toshiba with 2 years factory warranty for an extra $300 and I'd highly recommend it.

    • From my reading of whirlpool, emailing Kogan is a slow and painful experience. Try ringing them on their phone number. It's hard to find, but there was one at the bottom of the invoice email I got sent when I bought my phone from them. And my experience with the call I made was positive.

  • Bought this with the pre-sale and it just arrived last week. It seems ok for the price, but our one came with a dead pixel in it, haven't heard yet from warranty support if they will fix it or not. Otherwise tv is pretty good.

  • Brought it, pretty psyched, hopefully it comes perfect, I don't care if you call it cheap, it's still $749 and I won't take something that doesn't live up to what they describe it as.
