I have been waiting for the OnePlus Buds 3's (not pro) price to fall further for Black Friday (still $90+ on AliExpress), but the Buds Pro 3 is now tempting me. Battery life, build quality, waterproof, ANC, etc. are all important, but the main two things I want are swipe controls on top of touch/press (for volume) + dual drivers for audio excellence. Open to opinions and further recommendations!
The Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro just came out and is a direct competitor since it has almost the same features as the Buds Pro 3 including the swipe + squeeze controls and dual drivers. Initial reviews say the Soundcore has better ANC but the Buds Pro 3 have slightly better sound quality, though I think this could fall in the subjective territory seeing how close they are. Cheapest at the moment is at Aliexpress for AU$157.32 (with coupon). I haven't tried either of them personally but I just ordered the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro since I've owned many of their previous earbuds and I like the sound/tuning of them.
Wow didn't know about this, will check it out – thanks. Someone in my family got the Soundcore Space A40, which I read is just under the Liberty 4 NC sound-wise, and it sounded great. So I'm feeling optimistic about this Liberty 4 Pro. Cheers.

Currently slightly cheaper on Aliexpress using code AUBF19 which comes to around AU$177.32 for the black. But then you also get 10% cashback on that (TCB).
You may also want to consider some cheaper alternatives that give similar sound quality if that is your priority. jasswolf summarises a few of them here
