Nescafe Dolce Gusto Genio - Silver/Black $129 Harvey Norman $6.95 Delivery Sydney CBD

130

Wanted to buy two of these are Xmas presents, HN Broadway had them at $198 advertised in the window down from $229, found them on Big W for $178, as I was buying two of them I asked for them to price match Big W they came back and said for today only you can have them for $129 seemed like a bargain and guy at counter said their cost in the computer was $169.

I did try a coffee from a demo one, the espresso style black coffee seemed as good to me as an old nespresso system I had (I know this isn't nespresso) and for the price seems a bargain.

Got home and they seem to be the normal price on their website maybe silver has been discontinued etc?

Nice find and great price! HN site has both black and silver for $129+delivery.
    UPDATE:Got one(black with delivery)! Thanks O.P.!
P.S. i preferred this over nesspresso( it's the same company nescafe-nestle that owns both),with dolce gusto you can make a bigger variety-even cold- of drinks, nesspresso makes better coffee.

I havew the circulo…..and trust me, the coffee is nothing like the Nespresso

My nespresso makes quality coffee…..the dolce gusto makes coffee which tastes like its from the hospital canteen

Better off spending a bit more and getting the Nespresso U. Peters had it for $198 after the cashback

Pretty easy use the free demo and taste it for yourself and make up your own mind.

      • sure is. so these days u get down voted for telling how u think it tastes lol

        • these days you get down voted for smart@ss comments, i vote too for nespresso but if i compare it to my "barista's" cafe' at the bar opposite my house in Italy, then nespresso tastes like it comes from the hospital's wc!
          :)

  • many thanks I just purchased one, store pick up, great offer!

  • Great price. Tasted pretty good, free demo at my local Target. This machine is different from nespresso, they don't use fresh milk to make white coffee (latte or Cap). It use milk capsule, will need to buy a milk frother separately if u want to use fresh milk.

    • Milk tasted good when I tried one today. Whats the difference between this model and the

      Nescafe Dolce Gusto Circolo

      Nescafe Dolce Gusto Melody

  • Is there a list somewhere of compatible capsules for this (assuming that you don't just have to use capsules made specifically for this machine). Are these capsules sold at most supermarkets? Cheers.

From memory coles and costco have them as well has HN but I think there was about 6 places that sold them as well as online, certainly easier to find than the nespresso pods

      • Thanks for the reply. I've decided to get one of these as a Christmas present for myself. Just one more reason to check out Costco now.

  • I came across this model for $109 at the new Value Depot in Eagle Farm, Brisbane.
