Been a samsung boi my whole life but bit the bullet on this, best decision. I was a bit unsure because i always thought tcl was a dim sum brand, but with a 3 yr warranty you cant go wrong. The speed and quality is unreal.
For anyone looking to buy the 75inch C855, I just used the below receipt from previous deal from one of the OZbargainer to price match at TGG. They also have free delivery promo running for TVs above 75 inches.
If you are looking for 85 inch one you could probably use the below receipt. Not sure if that's a good price as I was only looking for 75 inch.

Did you manage to get TGG to price match? I went to TGG earlier & the staff wouldn't price match, citing previous offer is only available back then due to allowance from manufacturer.
I was. You probably need to try a different store or staff. The store I went to was quite busy. Each staff member was dealing with 5 to 6 customers. May be that helped as they didn't want to waste time negotiating price. I asked the person if he can give me a better deal than the advertised price. He asked me what I have in mind. I showed him the receipt and told him a friend of mine bought it at $1725 last month when it was not even on sale and he could give a better price on Black Friday. He checked the cost price and told me $1725 is the staff price and he can't go lower. I happily accepted then he told me I can get free shipping too with a current promotion. Didn't even need to ask.
Just ordered 85 inch price matching in store for $2301. Need to talk to TV sales man, the general staff told me they won't match with previous price.
Anyone else had luck with this? Was thinking of trying during Cyber Monday if no other deals pop up.

@Bazzaaa: Just go in with the receipt on your phone and say a mate got it for a good deal before. Try and grab the TV rep to make it easier.
