  • I put MP4's on an SD and put it in my TV to play. Would I be able to put this in my TV and send files to it?

  • That's… pretty damn cool! Hadn't heard about these before.

  • Seems not bad given speed and size.

I have an Eye-Fi but I don't like that you need to run the software on a PC to be able to get the images automatically uploaded.

There is also the Flucard Pro I wouldn't mind trying, that has uploading of images to any FTP server (which is exactly what I want to do, so as to dump them on my NAS) as well as sharing over wifi via its own web server I think. Only class 6 though, an 8GB runs about the same as this deal at the $83 mark, 16GB about 50% more.

Anyone tried Transend Class 10 WiFi cards? 16GB can be found for $65

  • They managed to insert a wifi antenna into an SD card? Does the SD card need to be connected to a card reader to be seen on the network? Does it need batteries?

    • +1

no. The SD card contains 2 x D size batteries within it which powers it. Of course this makes the SD card a bit heavier. So allow for this in your calculations.

      /end attempt at humour.

    • It will suck the life out of your camera battery.

The manufacturer website states it's a class 6 card. (http://www.ezshare.com.cn/english/product.asp?Category_id=1)

    • They have this kind of card in class 6 and also in class 10, you could check http://shop69011823.taobao.com/ which is their official shop in China. This card we offer here is indeed a class 10, so would you please remove the negative vote?
