  • Offer valid on complete pairs of full-priced prescription sunglasses or glasses (frame and lenses) purchased from Laubman and Pank between 14 November 2012 to 25 December 2012.

FYI, most optometrists have $100 off promos or better (or are capable of doing so if you simply ask).
If you were going down the no-gap route anyway and L&P can do a "full-priced" pair within your health fund limit then the deal is great!

    • I think the idea is if your health insurance is paying, you'll profit instead of saving them $100. ;-)

  • Seems no store in NSW.

  • On their site under health funds it has a condition

"4. Health fund discounts are not available in conjunction with any other offer, discount, rebate or benefit other than a health fund rebate."

Do you think hey will use that to not offer the voucher if you're using a health fund rebate as well? Seems silly to me but you never know

    • I claimed my health fund rebate and the offer. :)

      • As per Japius' entry; I wasn't able to get this offer as L&P have a deal with my health fund where I get a discount off frames. The discount was greater than the $100 gift voucher. You still use your health fund rebate for the rest ie lenses, etc.

  • +1

I rang up and checked out the cheapest setup was

    Frames $129 Item Number 110
    Lens $114 Item Number 212

    Total $243

    HCF Rebates

    Item 110 $85
    Item 212 $92

    Total $177

So $66 out of pocked. Hence for my HCF Membership $34 is not worth the time and effort for me
