This redefinition of a month as 28 days must be discouraged. Only February consists of 28 days (29 days in a leap year).

Yeah by doing this they can effectively make a 13 month year.

It's outrageous and another notch on the "screw over consumers" belt

  • Can you buy these in-store anywhere or online only?

    • You can buy them in Woolworths for $20 at the moment so actually better in store!

  • amaysim Vs everyday mobile. Which is better in terms of price and service?

    • Everyday Mobile is a Telstra MVNO running on the Telstra Wholesale network

      Amaysim is an Optus MVNO

      Amaysim is probably cheaper

  • I think you should be able to activate this as "As you go" and then switch to the "$60 Talk and Text Only" plan for $10 extra, getting you unlimited talk and text for 1 year for $34 total.
(I just did this today, but with a discounted $40 SIM + $20 extra)

  • Do you get 240 GB with this hack though?

    • Nah. This hack just puts the $50 towards 365 days of unlimited talk and text (and no data) instead of 28 days and 240GB.
I use a dual sim phone and start the cheapest available data sim each month for the data I need (since I don't care about keeping the number of my data sim I can activate a new one easily without worrying about porting)

  • When they have a 365 Day 500GB plan thats better than $189 then I might get it
