End of the World sale!!

SEE who's been trying to access your device!

The Ultimate Android Security app.
Photo evidence catches thieves in the act.

Having your phone stolen can always be a problem. Tracking it is great but when it comes down finding exactly who has your phone in a crowd of people there's no guarantee that you'll get it back. That's where TectDroid comes in.

TectDroid logs all incorrect unlock attempts on your device. It then instantly emails you the GPS location, date & time along with a photo from the front camera allowing you to see exactly who has tried to access your device.

Photo proof can make all the difference when trying to track down your stolen phone. It's very hard to argue with photo evidence.

You can also choose to display on screen text when someone tries to unlock your device.

Choose 2 different email addresses to receive the information on. We advise one address that's on your device and a second address not kept on your device.

PRIVACY:
TectDroid (Patent pending) does not save images to any third party servers or transmit any personal data outside your own account. The app is fully 'internal'. No personal information is collected.

TectDroid doesn't guarantee you will get your device back if lost or stolen, however it will dramatically improve your chances.

  • Now to wait for it to go on sale aka free? :p

    Sorry, low on funds…

  • will the gps feature still work if gps is initially disabled? in other words will it enable itself in order to send gps info to my email?

Hi. If GPS is off when the app is triggered it won't turn on GPS at present. This is due to a restriction by Android that I'm currently working on. The app will still work as normal but will email with a GPS location of 0.0.0.0. The next update will turn on GPS if off before sending the email.

    Cerberus or Prey

Both free, both do all this, as well as being able to track laptops and other devices

  • Other apps route your data through private servers. This app doesn't. Uses your own accounts so data is sent by you and to you at 2 separate email addresses.
Cerberus is not free. Free trial then $2.99 after a week. Prey doesn't offer photo security.
Tectdroid has already got a phone back from a taxi driver that was certain he had never seen the phone. His face soon changed once the photo of him attempting to access the device was put in his face. 99c can save a major headache should you lose your phone.
