The price is close to the ATL for a brand new WF-1000XM5 if you have an ebay plus membership.
There are speculations that WF-1000XM6 is going to be announced later this year. You might want to wait a bit though.

skill issue
100% don't deny that.
Another skill issue
Imagine if you just bought wired earphones

My 2019 buds pro are working great. No need to replace.
Samsung (profanity) up by releasing their most comfortable earphones so early. I love them.
Multipoint?
Check in your couch - that's where I found mine 4 months after losing them
Too much
I got the xm4s when they dropped to 315. Never regretted it.
$100~ XM3 crew still going strong 💪
The battery in one of my XM3's died :(
For peace of mind, you can replace the battery yourself. I ended up doing that for the left earbud successfully.
I splurged on some xm5s as an upgrade from xm4s when I got an $200 amazon gift card. They're not enough better to justify the RRP increase tbh.
I've been waiting for years for my xm4s to die before I look to buy the xm5s but it never happens. if the xm5s are anything like their predecessors, I would be a very happy consumer.
Xm5 are better every way in fit and sound from someone that has had both.
I'm still on XM3s since 2019 and they're going great and still hold battery like no tomorrow.
How are these compared to Airport pro 2? I feel like nothing can beat that but not sure about this xm5. Would love to hear your comparison
An airport is much louder.
Watch a few YouTube videos about the same. Airpod Pro always comes out on the top for voice and sound quality.
That's ironic, since Sony were one of the pioneers of planned obsolescence in the 90's.
Love these buds, came from the galaxy buds 2 and although the fit initially wasn't as nice once i figured it out they're pretty unbeatable
I am a Sony user, but only for their xb models as I enjoy the extra bass for my music genre. Are these bassy enough?
How does this compare to Earfun Air 4 Pro?
One has pro in it other got xm.
I recently upgraded to these coming off an old pair of galaxy buds. Obviously this is a difference of light and day, the one thing I really had to get used to (and still am) is the foam plugs. They are a lot better for the noise cancellation (without the ANC) which makes a massive difference.
I do find they start making my ears sore after an hour or two but that’s getting better as I’m getting used to them. I’m doubting whether to put just some silicone plugs on keep trying these. My wife, who normally has a hard time with in-ear plugs as she has very small ear canals, absolutely hates them and can’t wear them.
When I bought them I hadn’t ever had foam plugs before so just thought I’d share.
Not an audiophile but sound quality seems great to me and taking calls works well, except windy conditions.
I got a pair of foam plugs for my Galaxy Pro 2 buds and they were cheap and very comfortable.
Also they hold the buds in the ear much better than the rubber default ones.
I love mine, I use them probably for 8+ hours a day
What is the connection like in a crowd? I've found my linkbuds s keeps stuttering when there's a bunch of people
I have worn mine on a busy train station only a few times so far but haven’t any issues.
My linkbuds s is usually fine on a busy train as well but for some reason once i'm with a large crowd of people or it's super windy (i'm in Melbourne) it starts stuttering. Doesn't happen with my Samsung buds live.
I have the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus that are a few years old now, but working great. How big is the difference between those and these?
Galaxy Buds are working the best with Samsung phones. Sony is having better voice quality and also multipoint support that the Buds don't.
better audio call quality you mean? that's worth the money for me
My xm4s are still fine apart from having to disable that setting that pauses when you take them out. The sensors are balls and music would stop all the frigging time.
Wish I could justify 300 bux to upgrade but I can't.
I still prefer Bose
Anyone had issues with the mic? Terrible with MS Teams
A question for the owners here - How happy are you with the fit of these? I see a lot of reviews online saying these won't stay snug.
mine would never seal properly when moving round and caused major headaches with the ANC to ythe point I returned them. Never have had the same issue with my APP
These or the new Technics AZ100s that just got announced at CES? 🤔
https://www.t3.com/tech/headphones/technics-az100-review
They don't fit perfectly but the sound is amazing, Buds2 Pro fit perfectly but sound is average.
I kept both for their pros and cons
Sound quality and anc on these are amazing.
However ambient on one of the earbuds stopped working after 12 months (just after warranty ran out).
This is the first headphone i bought and can vouch that their sound quality is unmatched (for my ears)
ive tried so many cheap and premium (not the crazy $1000 stuff but airpod pros and Seinheiser Momentums, Jabra and older Sonys as well as heaps fo the awesome budget ones that get around. The fit is decent (i still give samsung FE best fit that doesnt fatigue and wont fall out for sports). They have great software so usually i dont really mess with that too much and just listen to music or calls but all the fancy noise cancelling, speak to chat and touch to chat is cool. 3D audio is a bit meh, but if your like me and moved from spotifys average sound quality to amazing music where you can listen heaps of HD and Ultra HD, get these.
PS i moved to a samsung galaxy so make sure your phone can play LDAC. Like AAC is ok im sure, but its just perfection on LDAC. Oh yeah and battery is solid.
sound qulity is good, but good luck moving at all with the ANC on. I returned them they were so bad
What do you mean? What happens if you move with anc on?
Ive lost too many of these to invest in another set of $300 headphones
My $150 pixel buds pro are going great though
