    Never using shopback again! Used it during the eBay 10% cashback black Friday sale and 2 transactions didn't get tracked. Unable to even file missing cashback anymore

      You get this with every cashback platform though.

      Usually just means your adblocking software is too strict or you're doing something else incorrect.

      I've done $1800 worth of cashback with Shopback and haven't had an issue in a long time now, but I am pretty careful with following all the steps.

        I knew someone would say this. I shop with CR and TCB and I've experienced maybe 1 issue. With SB, it's almost every transaction with issues.

          You're almost certainly doing something wrong then. I've had issues with CR myself which is why I went back to SB after initially moving away from SB because of issues. Since moving back 2 or so years ago it's been good for me.

          Once you realize they're all the same with similar issues you realize it doesn't matter so much.

          For some reason people try and make this into some us vs them debate though. Hate the way our culture is going with that crap and making even which Cashback app you use some political argument.

          If you're unsure just google cashrewards or topcashback tracking issues. Guess what you'll find?

    Another downvote for ShopBack. They have a recent history of conveniently not tracking items, and customer support has been nonexistent.

    Realistically should be banned on this site until they get their house in order.

    Ban Shopback from Ozbargain. So many issues with cashback either not tracking or tracking incorrect amount while their customer service is as useful as a bucket with no bottom.

      There are plenty of deals posted here that require subscriptions (Prime only deals etc.), price to join is not a deal breaker.

    Surprised to read these comments about SB not tracking… I use all 3 and haven't had any issues (touch wood). Use the in app browser and/or a dedicated web browser only for cashback purchases and clear cookies via "manage site data" each time

    Has any other Shopback Plus members received their monthly $5 off gift card promo code? I've tried buying different cards of $50 and there's no code there to apply despite SB taking their membership fee for this month :(

    I did exactly the same thing yesterday - joined ShopBack plus, bought a $50 gift card and paid 45 using the five dollar discount , got the normal cashback but haven’t got the five dollar bonus yet. A month ago everything tracked within five minutes.

    Upon reviewing the challenge progress, it appears that the challenge has already been fully redeemed prior to your cashback being tracked.

    I understand that this can be disappointing but the challenge bonus is running in real-time and it is based on a first come first serve basis if your order was tracked after the challenge has been fully redeemed then you will not qualify for the bonus.

      The T&C does state 'Available while redemptions last'. I bought my gift card at 5.03pm aedst and it didn't track. They either had very limited redemptions this time, there was a massive rush at 4pm or they are telling you porkies. Or gift cards just didn't track properly as noone in this thread has confirmed they had a gift card purchase track for the challenge.

      Lies. SB was known for displaying # of # rewards remaining for challenges which pissed people off when they bought with too few rewards remaining (AFAIK it has been a long time since they've done one; not displaying that number would piss even more ppl off). And they said the same for the Amazon GC which did not run out of stock.
