nordvpn will consider it a new account, but gmail considers it your original email address. so all emails go to your usual email inbox

I switched from SurfShark to Nord after seeing all the privacy issues with SS. Haven't really had any issues with Nord apart from one time i couldn't connect, so reached out to support, who said it was a known issue. Would have been nice to be notified but ehh. Also would only really get these deals when its 98%+ Cashback.

I just purchased this through Cash rewards for 213.58AUD but the cash back it's showing is 133.91AUD. What am I missing here?

I think they are calculating the cashback on the USD instead of AUD.
I think that this is because the cashback is for NordVPN only, not the add-ons that you get with the complete package.
This happened to me when I fist signed up a few years ago. I got cash back on NordVPN, but not NordLocker and the other apps.
Here’s what the T&Cs say:

I bought the standard "Complete" plan (no add-ons) so the cashback should be based on the cost of the plan ("Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only."). The cost of my plan was AU$213.58 and 95% of that cost should be AU$202.90. Even if they didn't pay on the full cost including GST, it should still be AU$184.45.
The cashback that has been tracked is AU$132.49 which is based on a transaction amount of US$87.83. The cashback at 95% gives a full transaction cost of AU$139.46 which doesn't match any of their 3 plans. It is also worth noting that on the NordVPN website, it shows the 3 prices as AU$122.16, AU$158.16 and AU$194.16, and all 3 say "GST may apply". Even the basic plan plus GST is AU$134.76, which is still different to the AU$132.49 that Cashrewards has come up with.
So, perhaps the OP got this deal wrong, thinking that as per the Cashrewards offer, that it applied to any plan, and perhaps it does only apply to the Basic plan (which is NOT what the Cashrewards deal says), and maybe the $2.27 difference is due to exchange rate differences ?
I will query this with Cashrewards, but be aware that you may not get 95% of $213.58 as per this deal's title.

Be careful if you’re buying more than just the basic plan. You get cashback on the back NordVPN only, not the add ons, like NordPass.
