  • Most catch shoppers probably already used FRENZY10 (once per customer)

    • Luckily I held out. Still, even without the code I think it's a great deal. I struggled to find them anywhere near as cheap elsewhere, even historically.

      • Cheapest I got was Kogan $117 for the Taupe Bostons back in 2021, they were my first pair so they are a size small. If they had the Taupe on this deal I would have gotten another pair in my proper size! Only other time I've seen them is close to this price on Up There store with more limited sizes and also never Taupe.

        • Did you size down a full US size (1 EU size) or a half US size (2 EU sizes). I'm looking at purchasing one now — I'm reading off the actual length of the footbeds and half size down for me feel about right.

    • Just try the code anyway, you may be surprised.

Mocha or poo brown, can’t tell

  • Thanks Op, found multiple options in EU46 which is generally unheard of!

Perfect for when your little toesies are always freezing, but your heels are always sweaty and on fire

Leather is easier to maintain and more resilient to the weather…

    • This is leather, the fake leather ones are called Birkoflor or something like that

      • These are very cute but I'd get the Birko-Flor Arizona, $100 with code and they are great (leather same price if you really need it).

The soles still wear out the same, I doubt you'll keep them for 20 years.

All glorified thongs, can't get them wet either.

        • You can get the outsoles replaced fairly easily. Just make sure you get them done before you start wearing into the cork. It will be expensive I think i got quoted around $40-60, but I'd rather keep using something if I can rather than replacing. You can also do it yourself pretty easily as well (they are just glued on, no stitching) if you get soling rubber from a leather or cobbler supply store and some glue used for cobbling.

          • @Jasonissm: That's handy to know and nice to repair not replace all the time. Yeah as long as not over $40-50 otherwise may as well get new ones for $100.

I sold mine anyway, would rather wear runners or thongs if just nipping out for 5 min. The TTS seemed a bit big too.

    • Suede is undoubtedly more resilient than calf leather.

Ugliest shoe I've ever seen 😅

  • True to size or size up?

    • +2

      I'm normally a us12 or eu 46, but I wear a 45 in birks.

"Available in unisex EU sizing - see size chart for correct fit. Please note: Birkenstock sizing runs large. We recommend ordering a size down from your normal size."

      • Cheers, I have super wide feet so I usually size up. So I'll order my regular size

        • i have super wide feet and i got half a size down, Birkenstocks gets comfier overtime as you wear them

          • +1

@alexae86: Ihave never had real Birkenstocks, just knockoffs from Germany or Kmart, and I want to get some of these. My feet are wide but not superwide, but I’m old and they swell up sometimes. Still, I think I’ll do what you’ve done and go a size down from my usual.

            • @kyteflyer: Sizing down would be better option (maybe 1 euro size down for wide feet people) as the Birkenstock would mold to your feet as you wear them so will get comfier overtime, just make sure to give it a few weeks to break them in

    • I'm US 11 in most sneakers and wear 44 in Birks

      • Ditto. They are true to size IMO

  • +1

Just with suede birks, they become floppy. While they're softer and easier to break in, it loses structure so it'll be annoying to put on. There's also more maintenance involved with suede.

  • I have the oiled leather version of these. As others have mentioned, the suede collapses, which is a pain if you want to put them on with no hands.

Great for wide feet. Good for cooler months. Wouldn't recommended for warmer months as feet sweat inside.

Size wise, I wear size 43 in both normal birkies and bostons. Sneakers I typically wear US 11.5.

They look pointless, probably good for people that wear singlets and jeans, make up your mind if it's hot or cold (although probably good for Melbourne lol).

      I'd go the normal ones..

    • don't feet sweat inside any shoe in the warmer months??

      • Wear socks lol.
These clog things look pretty hot, especially leather. They arev like winter thongs.

  • I have seen something similar at Kmart for about $10, not sure if the same material.

    • +1

It is not the same material.

    • Kmart has everything cheaper for those not wanting to spend much

  • Wouldn’t you know it? I totally forgot to Frenzy10. Oh well.

  • Ordered yesterday, coming this afternoon, sheesh that was quick.
