I ordered one of these from Orico AliExpress back in 2016 for US$49.99 and it's still going strong today. I've always used mine for all the power banks I hoard.

dam all USB A ports so looks like no fast charging. Woulda bought if they had a few USB C/fast charging

    • -2

      Woulda

      • +3

        Better than "would of"

    • 120W 10-Port

no room for anything fast on there

    • USB-C let alone PD was hardly mainstream in 2016.

    • Fast and Smart Charging
      10x 2.4A = 120W
      iPhone 15: Original charger (5V1A)

iPhone 15's original charger is 5W? And they compare their FAST 12W (5V2.4A) to the 5W charger, which makes sense. While it's still slower than my old wireless charger, 15W.

  • -1

12 watts per device, so if you've got lots of old phones then it's great.

    • Who charges 10 devices simultaneously? And who expects a $45 machine to charge them fast?

      • +3

Restaurants with phone/tablet POS. Overnight charging, speed doesn't matter.

      • We use them at work, each staff member has a phone with all our software running etc. End of shit they all go back on the dock and charge before next shift. They're good for saving having to use 10 power points and charging blocks etc.

  • +3

    Doesn't post to SA? lol

    • They weren’t posting to Sydney either - I just messaged them on eBay and they amended the listing. Received mine.

      • When I msg them directly, they told me it is "out of stock" and will let me know when its restocked. lol

  • -2

Item does not ship to you. Well then you lost my business sir.

    • +1

it also means they don't want yours lol

      • +1

This is true, well played ORICO AU Direct.

  • Have bought one 5 years ago from Amazon, daily use commercially - still going.

    • Does it fit phones that have the wallet covers on?

  • +2

Anyone recommend a good charging station like this that has at least 15w outlets?

  • Got one, been thinking about it for a while. Cheers.

  • 10 ports x 2.4A = 120W, should work out to be 5V 12W per port. Okay for charging some slow charging devices but not for recent and newer phones. Not worth the price for me.

    • +2

slow charge = put less stress on battery?

If your device can last a full day, then does it matter how fast it charges overnight?

      • Should be ok for overnight charging. I think phones can do adaptive charging that lowers the charge for over the night.

In that case, 5W should be enough and a multi-cable is much cheaper but no dock yeah.

  • Thought it was a dish rack

  • +1

i would have bought this 10 years ago, but i can't live without usb-c fast charging. this is too slow for now a days.

Got a message from the seller asking me to cancel order? Feels like they're doing it to avoid cancellation metrics:

    • Yeah got this too. Interesting…

    • Yep got the same thing. Quite odd, never had a seller asking me to cancel if they are out of stock, it's normally them. I still want the item though, great value. Might just let it sit for a while and see what happens.

      • Now they're really being pushy. Not sure what hurricane they're referring to because i'm in Sydney and their item is in Granville.

        Dear Customer

We sincerely hope that you and your family are safe during this hurricane.

Due to the surge in demand for this product solution as a result of the widespread power outages, our ORICO-DUK-10P-AU-BK-BP is now unable to be out of stock and is temporarily unavailable. Unfortunately, we must ask you to cancel this order through the eBay system to expedite a refund.

        🔄 How to cancel:

        • Got this one too. Ignored it. An hour later I get another one saying it's shipped!

          What an adventure haha

          • @TheZohan: Yep just got a shipped message now.

"We would like to express our gratitude for choosing to shop with us.We are pleased to inform you that your order has been successfully shipped today. You will be provided with a tracking number to keep track of your items."

            • @Saiya: I just received the package and its the wrong device. I received a orico protective storage case bag. Anyone know the best way to dispute with ebay?

              • @SingSing: Same, just got my package today and something was off with how light and small it was, opened it up and it was a Orico Protective Storage Case Bag…

                • @Gazette: Messaged the seller through ebay, the storage case was a "gift" and they offered a full refund:

We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused to you, because we didn't receive your reply about our cancellation of the order, we dare not cancel the order, but the Charging Bus is really out of stock due to too many recent purchases, so we send you a hard drive organizer as a gift to express our apology, you can just take it without the need to return it!Are you willing to accept a full refund for you now?

I'm guessing it's because I didn't notice the initial out of stock message and didn't reply in time to cancel, they had to send something before an ebay system deadline before they get some sort of strike or bad rating against their account(?).

I accepted the full refund, hopefully won't have to chase up on this, but got a free storage case which is nice I guess.

              • @SingSing: Yep got the same thing! Sent them a message and they said I can keep it but asked if it was OK to cancel the order. But now I can't as they 'delivered' the wrong item so it's not there. Need to wait 3 days before I can lodge a dispute with eBay as that selection won't come up.

                • @Saiya: Just got back from a trip and unboxed the thing, and can confirm I received the same storage case.

Honestly this seller is really going to lengths to avoid cancellation metrics. It's bonkers.

                  • @P1xellat3d: Late reply, I got the same.

How did everyone go resolving the issue?

  • +1

I got my device, but no usb cables.
Says in the description should come with 10.
Now to trudge through the ebay process.

    • Was the package sealed?

      • +1

As in taped up, no just the usual tabs on the box

    • +1

Received mine today with no cables too.
Sent a message off to the seller and they responded with the same text that @Gazette posted which is odd.
They've offered a full refund, so we'll see what happens.

Updated to confirm that a full refund was issued! Now to buy some cables.

      • Did all of your ports work? Only 6/10 worked for me

        • Just tested them, and fortunately they are all working
