  • Thank you OP got a S24+ 256

    • 256? How did you manage that

      • +1

        256GB storage space I think

      • yeah 256GB not $256 :D

  • The coupon doesn't work when I tried to order Tab S10+ WIFI it just says: The code you entered did not affect your order. Please note, codes may only be valid for certain items or in certain conditions.

    • Did you add trade-in?

      • no I didn't so the coupon requires you to trade in? cause I don't have any samsung devices

        • The SECRET3 code does not require trade in. Likely sold out of stock that was allocated to sale and has been a delay in updating that page

  • S24 Ultra 512GB for $1,299 not bad, maybe still wait for S25U 512GB

    • You mean the 256GB?

  • bough s9 tab for $374 trading in my old s21 - not bad at all
    oh an -$18 cashrewards

  • +1

can confirm got $100 further off contacting chat support

    • For people asking how, just chat to support and tell them , I want a loyalty voucher to buy xxxx, that easy

  • bought s24+ for $545 with secret sale discount, 5% first time buying from Samsung app, $105 off in tradein discount for s10+128gb.

  • I have order a S24+ for $597
Used the secret voucher code, $100 voucher from Samsung chat, traded in an old S10e and also 5% off from the Samsung shop app. Very good deal IMO

    • How do you do the $100 voucher? My chat is with an A.I bot.
Edit: Eventually spoek to someone and they got me $100 off!

      • How did you ask for it? Thanks

        • I just said may I please receive the $100 voucher. It only applies if your phone is eligible for trade in. My phone's value was $1 so I was able to apply it.

  • Thanks! I was gutted to miss out on the samsung s24 plus $150 trade in last week. It was a blessing in disguise. I purchased the Samsung S24+ with the $150 trade in and 5% on the Samsung app. I have had the same phone since 2018, the Samsung S9. Thanks for your help. :)

Edit: Also applied the $100 coupon they gave me. Sounds too good to be true!

    • Total price paid?

  • -1

Is it still possible to do the trade in thing where you don't send in the item and just cop a small fee?

    • Yes

      • How much is a fee

        • $60

          • @midnightride: bargain , so they gave me $130 plus bonus for my s21
if i dont send it back they will just charge $60?
i can probably sell it for more

            • @botchie: My understanding is that Asurion will retain your Security Charge equivalent to the trade-in device value (in your case $130), and charge you a fee of $60 (which happens 14 days after your purchased device is delivered to you).

  • I have added the SECRET3 code but where I can apply the $100 loyalty code on top? Thanks

    • You speak to live chat and they will give you a code. I just applied it to the coupon option before checking out and it was added.

Stack with Amex Samsung $500-$100 offer

    • What amex offer?

    • It doesn't work with my CBA Yello offer.

      • Why doesn't it work with CBA yello offer?
I was hoping to save $100 through CBA too

        • CBA yello offer is different as it is a chdckout discount through EPP site and they dont have secreet sale offers or current trade in bonus codes on EPP sites.
AMEX is just cashback after spending on samsung site.

      • i do have CBA yello , it doesnt work entering SECRET3, mainly cause it doesnt allow you to link to the secret sale

    • Does the AMEX offer work on the Samsung Shop app on mobile too? If you know.

      • Reply to self: Yes, it works on the Samsung Shop app too. I just bought something and got the AMEX email confirmation.

Thanks Paul97. I am looking to buy s24+. I did not add the trade in option but applied the SECRET3 then the $100 code I have from live chat. But, it comes up with this error message. “The code you entered did not affect your order. Please note, codes may only be valid for certain items or in certain conditions.” Will it means I need to add the trade in? Thanks.

    • $100 code is only if you trade in.

    • I traded in my current phone which was esrimated to be worth a dollar. So i got a $150 trade in bonus, $100 off from live chat (if you are trading in), and 5% by purchasing through the Samsung App. Now i'm just hoping they accept my trade in. I purchased the Samsung S24+ for just under $650 with these add ons. It would have been $900 without the trade in.

  • If you guys call up the contact centre and tell them you have a samsung product theyll give you their own special code for an extra 10% off

    • What’s the number to call?

    • Was the extra 10% off for the s24+?

  • S24 Ultra all Online Exclusive models available, 3 week delivery

You can also complete this jotform. You'll normally get a phone call and offered a code, which you can ask to be emailed.

Guys what's the penalty if we say we'll trade in a device to get the $150 discount, then don't actually send it in?

    • -3

Say bye to your 150. Plus something something fee?

    • I am asking the same question.
If we apply for trade in and don't send the device, what happens?
I believe we would have to pay the Trade in value, not sure if there is a penalty.

      • You'll cop $60 penalty fee for not returning.

  • Thanks, got the Jet 65 Stick Vacuum for $300.

  • +1

Just bought S24 ultra for $1,129. Thank you!

    • +1

Are you waiting for 3 week delivery?

  • There is a distinct lack of Galaxy Watch 7 offers from Samsung…. I wonder why…

  • Looks like the deal is done, max redemptions?

  • The deal for s24+ seems so bad compared to getting the s25+ during launch hacks.

    • I didnt bite on the s25 pre order deals but did on this one. All in all trading my s22 ultra (which needs an update/i want to get rid of) for the 24+ and its roughly $350 out of pocket. Seems not too bad to me.

What was the s25+ going for back then?

      • S25+ 256gb for $625 (with no "actual" trade in) :)

        • Yeah damn thats a good deal lol ahwell what can you do.

Im sure I'll be happy enough with the 24+

  • If I don't send them the old device, are they just going to charge me $60 or $60 + the value of the device?

    • +1

You will cop both the value of the trade-in device + $60. The value of the trade-in device is charged upfront and will be refunded when Asurion have received your device.

      • -1

Is it still an option to say that the device is broken to bring the value to $1 and never send it to them?

        • +1

Net net, same thing. If your trade-in device is valued $1, both your purchase price is reduced by $1 and your security charge forfeited is $1. If it's valued $100, again, your price reduction is $100, but your security charge is also $100. Therefore, you should just assume your trade-in value is zero.

The net impact of "Never sending it to them" is basically the $60 late fee.

          • @midnightride: Thanks for the explanation. Follow up question, would Samsung also charge me back the trade in bonus ($200 received for S24 ultra)?
So the total would be $1 trade in value + $60 late fee by Asurion + $200 bonus received at time of purchase?
            Or
Is it just $1 trade in value + $60 late fee?

            • +1

              @Genghis: It's just the trade-in value + penalty fee ($60).

If your trade-in valued at $1 due to cracked screen and you didn't send it to Asurion, you'll most likely be charged $30 only.

  • Thanks OP, got an S24+ for a good price.
    Subtotal $1,588.00
    Discount Applied - $943.52 (used the SECRET3 + $100 CRS voucher from chat) & Trade-in $1.00
    Grand Total $644.48

    • & Trade-in $1.00

How did you get this one?

      • it's just the value of my trade in device, i.e. get's added to the $150 bonus trade in offer.

      • You need to go forward with the cart options. On second last step when you actually sign up to trade in with Asurion, they will ask you couple more questions about the device, and for me I said I have a burn mark on my screen (which is true!), this reduced my trade in value to $1.

  • Thanks - purchased s24+ for $589.40 plus was debited $90 for a s20fe trade-in. Can anyone confirm - if I dont send in my s20fe trade-in, is my only cost the $90 they have already debited me or will other penalties apply. I think I could get a little more than $90 selling the s20fe locally.

    • You'll get penalty charge of $60 approximately 2-3 weeks after receiving your order. So $90+$60 respectively.

  • What happens if the trade in phone has a screen issue? $150 bonus applied but $0 on the trade in? I have a Pixel Pro 6 with the top right corner dead.

    • It may make it ineligible or it may reduce to $1.
Go to checkout and it will ask questions about trade in device.

Purchased a S24+ 256GB (and free Clear Case) for $605.48:

    … $1,549.00 Original price

    … ($619.60) SECRET3 code 40% off
    … ($150.00) Trade-in bonus
… ($100.00) Trade-in loyalty voucher requested from Live Chat agent
… ($33.97) Samsung Shop app first purchase 5% off the net amount above

    … ($1.00) Trade-in value
    … +$1.00 Trade-in security charge forfeited
… +60.00 Asurion late fee occuring 14 days after expected delivery in 3 weeks time

… ($100.00) AMEX offer $100 cashback with $500 min spend (email confirmation received)

= $605.43 Net Amount Paid with 5 cents rounding error – may be GST related

    Hope this helps.

    • nice. hope they add S25 into list soon

    • +1

Slight chance my late fee is only $30 due to low trade-in value of $1, which would reduce my net amount to only $575.48. One can hope!

      • Thank you for sharing, didn't know about the $100 loyalty voucher!

How does it work if you decide you don't want to trade in the phone? I paid the security charge already ($90)

        • Based on last year's experience, your security charge will be forfeited, effectively offsetting your trade-in discount, and you get slugged a $60 fee for not sending in your phone. All this is between you and Asurion. Samsung should be out of the picture.

  • How does Samsung handle returns with a trade in?

I managed to get the $100 additional trade in code, but the agent says I cannot cancel the current order (which I had arranged for pick up)

Thinking of just letting the current order go through, return it on the spot. Do i still cop a $60 no return fee?

Meanwhile I place a 2nd separate order for trade in.

    • Either return immediately and cop the no return fee, sell the device, or keep device as back up.

    • You could potentially end up worse off doing that.
Other have previosuly had issues getting trade in charge refunded and were still charge non return fees and wasnt easy to get it back.
I thought you couldnt return online orders instore, although im not sure if that applies to orders picked up instore. If you order another phone, they can use that as a reason to eeny a return because change of mind doesnt really apply and get stuck with 2 phones. If you want to use the same trade in device for 2nd order, you may have to wait until they cancel the 1st order before you can use the trade in again for 2nd order.

      • That was my thought. Might just cop the $100 'loss' on the chin, as the offer is still a great deal.

      • I did something similiar, where I had the trade in details placed on checkout but browser crashed and had to put the same trade in details again, I got charged twice (security charge) and completed the order (2nd attempt). However I was able to log in Suarion because I had 2 trade in ID's and I cancelled/refund request button on the first one and it said it'll take up to 7 business days to refund.

        • I placed a 2nd order , trading in a S21 256GB. ($160, plus $100 loyalty, $150 bonus, SECRET3 and 5% Samsung Shop App)

Managed to do a return on the 1st order (after pick up). Wasnt too bad, agent was very helpful.

          Great deal!

  • Grabbed a Tab S9 128g with a screen protector (to bump it above $500).

Combined with $1 trade-in, 5% app bonus, loyalty code and Amex offer brought it down to $429.44. Likely will cop a fee from Asurion but we'll see.

  • I got a Tab S9 128gb for $394 with trade in of my iPad9thgen and $100 loyalty code, amazing price. A big FU to Apple, this marks the end of my relationship with Apple products in my household…. never again. Hopefully Shopback will track extra 5%, but not counting on it given use of loyalty code.

    • agree, as S9 had sPen included, great to play with their AI photo editing tools on big screen.

    • -1

there are freaks over there telling me that apples entry 10th gen ipad is better then s9 because IOS, the apple fan boys are a weird bunch

  • keeping pixel aside, samsung is having monopoly, wish more competition comes into place

  • Bought the S24 Ultra with 25W adapter for $1175.

    Trade in bonus - $200
    Trade in value - $1
    SECRET3 code - $500
    Voucher from Chat - $100
First purchase from Shop app discount - 5% ~50

    Total Savings - $861

  • Anyone planning to do trade-in can use this code below - which I got additionally from Samsung. Takes off $100 your order. Will save you time chatting to the rep online.
    'CRS-SMD6-HHD9-9MYZ'
Only one person can use it and can't be stacked to another trade in voucher from Chat.

  • Hi guys I wanna order this for my dad who is only here on holidays for next 2 weeks.. if I add my iPhone SE $165 as a trade in do they wait until I send my phone to them to ship my s24+? Because if so I wouldn’t receive his phone before he leaves..

    • You will be asked to send the trade in device when you have received your order.

      • So they will ship it straight away then I ship my phone? Sorry I just wanna make sure he gets in time if I order thanks he leaves Friday week

        • Correct. You'll receive email asking you to return the trade-in device once the delivery tracking status delivered.

          • @double_J: Thanks

            • @Brendan86: You can ask your Dad to claim the GST via TRS at the airport. :)

              • @double_J: I don’t understand says in stock but delivery 3/4 weeks which is no good as a present

I was about to click complete
