          Will I need to return power cable, connecting pipes, remote or any other accessories during trade-up (if applicable)?
          It’s not a requirement to give the driver collecting these items but we will recycle these if requested.

          No mention of it in the FAQs.

          My previous Samsung orders all required signature on delivery, so I'm assuming if you're not home it won't be delivered (and old monitor won't be picked up).

    The color gamut is very low, with only 72% NTSC (1976) coverage. There's no mention of other color spaces or Delta E, so the color accuracy and standard of this Samsung 34" Odyssey G55T monitor are not good. I would not choose to buy it.

      I've noticed that lots of new model IPS & VA monitors these days are switching from 8 bit + FRC (10bit) to 6 bit + FRC (8bit)
      This is resulting in pretty bad colours that looks almost a little washed out like we used to get from TN panels.

        Check your credit card insurance policy. For example Westpac black cards will refund the difference if the item you bought goes on sale within 60 days. (Need to check the days, but was this last time I checked)

        I know that monitors have favoured IPS for a while now. But isnt the low IPS contrast and IPS light bleed terrible if you constantly use the PC at night? Any TV person will always tell you the benefits of VA (most Sony's) over IPS (most LG's).

    I bought one for $300 and didn't think it was too bad at all to use as a general monitor for work, etc. If you want an actual Big D monitor, you need to pay $1000 and call it a day

    Still rocking my xaomi 34 curved that i got during covid. can't believe how well its held up given how much I use my computer. this price is tempting but I think my next upgrade will be a 42 oled instead of a curved

      Same boat. OLED is a way bigger jump. I've got a 65" C4 I plug my PC into sometimes for couch gaming and it's a night and day better experience.

    These screens are only slightly bigger than an old 24" 16:10 1920 x 1200 screen…

    That's the thing with ultra wide screens - top to bottom they're actually small.

      The delivery guys take the traded in items right to the tip. They dont even verify the trade in.
      I asked them last time i traded in a 24" tv for the 55" QLED.
      They literally just throw it in the truck, so if it was intact, it might get broken
