Asus TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5090 32GB OC Edition GDDR7 Graphics Card $6999 Delivered ($0 VIC/SYD/ADL C&C) @ Centre Com

1318

First time ever I saw an RTX5090 actually in stock! The legend said only couple thousands of these are ever manufactured.

Kind hearted Nvidia could have sold them for 10 times $6999 = $69999 if these GB202 die are made into RTX Pro 6000. But they are so kind and give consumer 90% off.

Why don't we understand and appreciate Nvidia's kindness? Nvidia is losing $63000 per unit sold? The more you buy the more you save!

Surcharges: 0% for bank deposit, Afterpay & Zip Money. 1.2% for VISA / MasterCard & PayPal. 2.2% for AmEx.

  • It's not Aprils fools yet though lol

"in stock" does not equal bargain, tongue in cheek post is great but nah… not a deal in any shape or form.

    Only USD $2999 at microcentre : https://www.microcenter.com/product/690033/asus-nvidia-gefor…

    Thats only $4766 AUD

    • warranty is probably pretty important if you're thinking of buying one of these..

It'll age like fine wine when their proprietary software features are removed

    • 32-bit applications are in the process of being buried everywhere, what's disappointing is that they've left everyone currently in the lurch in terms of a genuine solution.

The next wave of physics models are AI-based, so perhaps a translation layer will be made that way.

  • and to think i bought my 3090 new for $2400 and i thought the pricing for that was daylight robbery.

  • We're talking AI modeling here arn't we? Nothing else would require this surely.

  • Fair point that this ain’t a bargain. Then again, for those wanting the best, you decide what you allocate your money to. Usually people still make $ after purchases like these.

Then again, I like to allocate money to the house. It doesn’t get me 300 fps, but it’s still pretty swell.

Do i buy this or a used corolla

  • MSRP AU price: $4,039

I'm not sure if we can call the ACCC on this…

    • -1

      MSRP price STARTING AT $4039

Surely you understand that there are differences in build quality and features between models like the Prime and the Astral.

I for one am glad that we have these different models targetting different price points. Obviously $7k is still just dumb for this card, $5.5k was too much for the Astral at release pricing.

  • I assume Australian suppliers are just gouging because the can because of low supply right?

The price will drop later in the year as more units become available?

  • For anyone who missed out on this 'deal', Centre Com have a lot of different 5090 cards available now. They aren't at Ozbargain prices though.

  • even stupider price
