    • It says can take upto 6 weeks

      • Double that…within 60 working days as per T&C.

Thanks OP, grabbed one for my Mum who has been a long time Epilady fan.

        • ahh, I knew there was a 6 somewhere

  • I'd be a sucker not to buy it… right?

    • +1

Hardly Normal was selling this for $57 last time, then they caught on there was a rush of people buying to get the $75 cashback and pulled the deal.

I said at the time they would pull the deal and relist at a higher price to capture more profit for themselves. Well well, look where we are at.

    • +2

It's still free for us :)

A BUSINESS IS TRYING TO MAKE A PROFIT, SHAME ON THEM.

Harvey normans are losers. Last time I ordered at the $54 price and they said they had no stock, I emailed them they said they have sent it to me via the post. I havent gotten anything yet.

    • +1

Yeah same… haven't got my item, haven't got a refund either!

  • Has anyone actually used it? Can you comment on its effectiveness? Is it really painful? Does it get really short hairs? Thanks.

    • They work. They hurt like hell. LOL. Enjoy! :D

    • +2

it isn't too painful (if you are use to waxing)and gets most of the hairs (say 80%) in one run over but the sound it makes is scary… it sounds like a chainsaw so placing it on your skin.. feels like a scene from the Saw horror movies…

  • +1

so we can order it online and the invoice should be ok for cashback?

  • +6

29 February 2013 - sorry not going to happen

  • So with combined shipping, I actually make $5 on each subsequent Epilator I buy? Should I not buy 100 of them?

    • +1

      Has to be individual transaction…

      • Yeah, just read the T&C. And only up to 5 transactions per person. Thanks.

    • This is why conditions like these apply….
      8. Consumers may submit up to five (5) claims, provided each claim is associated with a separate purchase
of a Participating Product, and can be verified by a separate proof of purchase.

    • Oh no, the poster above beat me to it!

      1. Consumers may submit up to five (5) claims, provided each claim is associated with a separate purchase

  • does the form have to be mailed/faxed in or can we send it online?

    • +1

      • +1

    • Available online only

  • Cheers thx.

  • Thanks OP. just bought one for the freebie and 5 cents.

Does this 'Silk Epi5' work on rough turf like shaver?
On the 'not so silky' terrain like men's body hair and/or facial hair.

Honest question as never have one before.

    • Epilators are quite painful and I dont think you will try it on a men's facial hairs.

    Out of stock so quickly?
Anther work done by the professionals again?

    • +2

Coming soon to a eBay listing near you

    • Ozbargained

    • +1

I am not sure, why they allow more than 2-3 items. Every store should check the quantities so that people don't buy in bulk for ebay for gumtree.

    • +1

Anther work done by the professionals again?

clearly the work of professionals taking advantage of poor mr harvey. i hear the poor fella is going broke…. or something

Bought the wife one of these a few weeks back when they were $54 at HN (so i actually make money with the cashback!). Only problem is i made the mistake of giving it to her as an Xmas gift… Don't think i'll ever here the end of this one. She HATES it and will never use it again! Gee, and i thought giving a gift that would pluck each individual hair out would be a good thing!

  • If you are near a HN store, probably you would find one on sale, Saw a couple of them on the shelf at HN Dandenong in Victoria today morning.

  • I tried adding to cart and doesn't work?

  • No button to add to cart, are they definitely sold out?

  • Probably not, unjust need to try evey location, like its worth wasting the time and effort.

  • Just checked with their online chat peeps and they have definitely sold out. Only an online promotion as well so not available in store

  • I am still wating last time order coming.

  • That's ashame.. Never knew they had an online chat :0

  • love this, no more hair downstairs for me

  • Anyone received their tax invoice yet? Ordered in the morning but still nothing :(

  • Ugh. Missed out AGAIN!

    • You are not alone. I missed out too….ha ha ha….well…..next time.

  • Hahahah! I did price match at priceline for braun 5380 and paid only A$69 ..

    • +1

that is a good price for 5380.

    • thats a hardcore ozbargainer. shame on you, you legend.

  • Should still be able to price match if you can find a physical store with stock. My local (in Darwin) had a few left after the last bargain.

Would this Silk Epil Xpressive 7180 Epilator be considered a Series 7 epilator and thus be eligible for the $100 cash back? Making it $33.44 (free regular postage from Priceline)

    • Please Check PM

  • Received today via courier. :)

    • Did you get a shipping advice or did it just turn up?

  • Anyone else received theirs yet?

  • Received mine yesterday.

  • Received mine today.

  • Still waiting on one….grrrr

    • Ive just realised that my 2nd order has come for now over two weeks and yet the first order - no idea where it is hmmmmm - might haveta call them me thinks…

  • I called them and they said item not in stock. I have no hope of getting it anytime soon.
I really wonder why sell something that is not in stock?

Similar story with a Forza game deal that was posted a couple of months ago. I had to keep chasing them up and it finally arrived after about two weeks.

  • deleted

  • Mine just arrived today

  • Received mine too, which one is the tax invoice number? The one that comes with the parcel or the one Harvey Norman emails out? The number is different.

    • One might be the order confirmation no.

      • There is one emailed from Harvey Norman stating invoice number, but the number is same as the order number. So I'm a bit confused over which invoice to use.

        • I would use the one that came in with the Parcel.

  • Thanks, accepted advice and used the parcel one. Finger cross.

  • hm, I sent it in before I got my parcel delivery with the email one, should I send it in again with the parcel one?

    • I used the one in the email also, it states Invoice Number, so I don't see why it wouldn't be right. If they must they can contact Harvey

  • Anyone got their rebate yet?

  • No sign of rebate yet… I think it will come in 2 weeks time

  • No rebate, no goods after many phone calls to Joyce Mayne. Where is Gerry?
