Officeworks I got this from had a about 100 rows of these. Careful you don't pick up the 4gb by mistake, which are on the end of most isles. I picked the 8gb, but I've been having trouble testing the write speed using hdtune. Keeps refusing to recognise partition as deleted…
Crystaldiskmark shows this as 23mb/s read and 3.5mb/s write. My cheap kingston 4gb key does 21.5/5, so the speed is average, nothing exceptionally good. Good for a backup, or os install i guess.
Bought this one 2 months ago, $5.97 from OW.
I can say that I have a couple of these and they survive an industrial washing machine, followed by the dryer in my shirt pocket and still work!
Which one is better? Compare to the Lexar twisted turn 16GB for $8 in Kmart.
