  • Where from??

    • ^^ DSE = Dick Smith. Just picked one up myself this morning actually, thought it would be nice to throw on my computer chair in my home office, and $30 seemed pretty good

      • +1

        How does it feel?

        • Haven't actually taken it out of the box yet, I'll edit my comment when I test it. I picked mine up from Victor Harbor store in SA

        • So typing this whilst testing it out. Pretty good, nice rollers that go up and down your back. Can't complain for $30.

        • O.M.G! Unbelievably effective and not expecially noisy either. Now all I need is a sore back!

  • is this common to all stores??

  • This looks like a sale on at a specific store, we can read it is at dick smith, sn809 is asking WHERE it was purchased from!

    • It is a clearance ticket which means it is printed as per the price associated with the CAT number. If it was marked down with a texta or something it would be store specific. It will be hard to find them but it should be Australia wide.

  • hmm , going to check out Melbourne CBD store later for this ..

Just picked one up from Belmont WA. Was still marked as $59 but went to counter and it scanned up at $30. There was only 1 left at that store.

    • There were plenty out the back - Belmont still had stock midday Sunday.

  • 50% off Homedics products was part of the Dick Smith sale, so anything there with that brand should be 50% off the original price.

    Good luck!

  • +1

Point Cook (VIC) store has plenty in stock.

  • Broadway (NSW) is all out :(

  • Didn't see any in both CBD dick smith ..seems that the one on Elizabeth Street, The Strand … closing down …

  • think i counted 8 at the elizabeth shops here in SA. only 7 there now, thanks op :)

  • Cheers op, picked 1 up from Parramatta Westfield store for $30.
There were 2 left at the time the store closed.
    RRP is $100.

  • It's further discounted from 50%off. Was $49.95. :) good find OP

  • Can't find it on DSE website…

What's the product/catalogue number on the receipt in case someone wants to check stock over the phone

  • Thanks OP. Got one.
To geek7889……item ID number is SE2003

    • Thanks

  • fantastic machine. bought 2. the worker there were surprised when she scanned the price.

  • Picked up the last one from Vic Gardens, Richmond earlier today.

  • Just don't buy the neck and back massager, I couldn't feel anything.

I've used one of these before and they are so crap, get a wife, get a real massage.

    • +9

A wife cost more than $30.

but you might get a happy ending

      • get a wife

i tried yours, wasnt impressed. definitely not worth the $30 :)

who do i speak to for a refund?

  • 13 left in Bathurst.

  • thanks OP, just picked one up from North Lakes store, QLD. They had it RRP 49.95, on special for $30 right at the store entrance.

When I left, there were 4 more left at the store.

Not a bad little unit for $30, the lower back rub with heat is pretty good.

  • There are 16 left at the Erina Store in NSW.

  • Oh I have one of these back massagers by homedics—Mine is a different model with buttocks (and thigh) massaging =D. The only thing thats annoying about it is how its gives such strong massage, I use it with the extra back protective piece that attaches to the massager by velco and it is still feels strong.

  • About 10 left at Greensborough Vic

  • Couple left at Marrickville NSW

    • I will go there check it out tomorrow.

  • Just pick up one up at Westfield , Doncaster , Victoria. One left . Advertised 59, scanned price 30 bucks

    • Thats strange. It was advertised $49.95 where I picked it up from, but still came up as $30. Paid with WISH gift card for a furthur 5% off. So $28.50 for me

      • It doesn't really matter what price they advertised .. Most importantly we all got a good deal …

Save me from messaging my wife … LOL

  • Just picked one up from Seven Hills NSW. There were 3 on the shelf at that time. Thanks OP

I need a clarification. When I was paying for it, the salesman offered me extra 1-years warranty for $5. I declined. He also said that since this product is on clearance, the warranty is now reduced from 2 years to 1 year.

    Can they do that ?

The documentation that came with the massager clearly says 2 years !

  • I bought one for $50 last week.. Didn't even open and saw this..

    • +1

Take it back and ask them for $20 back, because you haven't opened it yet
I think within 2 weeks we can do it

  • +1

3 left on shelf at Hollywood Plaza, SA. They also had other Homemedics massagers (feet, shoulder/neck) on clearance specials, but this did seem to be the best deal.

    • I bought 2 from that store yesterday too :D

  • Bourke st, apparently has 20+ when i called in the morning, could only see 6 left thou. This is at 5pm…maybe more out the back

  • Got the second last one in sunnybank, qld store
    Thanks OP

  • Got the last one at ashfield nsw today, amazing deal for a gift as we bought sumthing similar for $199 before.

  • Picked one up from Karingal, VIC Sat am, BTW Power centre now closed, yet to plug in as its a pressie & keeping quiet but good bargain, cheers!

  • +2

Picked one up at Parkmore yesterday afternoon. About 5 left in stock there.
For $30 it performs better than I expected!

But as previously mentioned - it does give quite a strong massage!

  • I picked one up yesterday, and they rang it through as $20!!!
    Even more of a bargain!

  • +1

Just picked one up. Pretty good.

    • $20 or $30?

      • got the last one at calamvale qld for 30 about an hour ago.

  • +1

These never really did it for me. I had to pause the position of the roller to hit "the spot", often needing to twist my torso slightly. What I want is an overall massage suit where the platic massage balls are replaced with stiff silicon fingers (or genetically re-engineered human fingers ;)).

They're still out there - I got one 30 minutes ago at DSE, Belmont, WA and it wasn't the last they had.

  • i pick the last one @ livingston, wa.. none @ cannington, carousel and maddington..

    cheap price..

they also got the Neck and Shoulder Massager with Heat NMSQ-200-AU on clearance = $20.. rrp is $49.. http://www.homedics.com.au/massage/neck-massagers/neck-and-s…

  • a few left at St Ives this afternoon

  • +1

picked up one from midland WA late sunday- there were about 5 left. Very good for $30. Nice on lower back.
Would be nice to have it just work on one spot. It can do up and down all of back around spine. alos setting for top part of back ie middle to top and setting for lower back ie middle to bottom. Has a heating elemnt which works

    • Got it from Perth city murray st mall yesterday, they still have at least 10. I've been wanting to buy one of this, thanks OP.

  • Sweet. picked up the last one from eastgardens

  • Big thanks, got one for my mum

  • Got both the shiatsu (as per OP's post) and the neck & shoulder. I think the Shiatsu one for 30 is a lot better than the neck & shoulder. The neck & shoulder one vibrates so doesn't feel like it 'massages' like the shiatsu…but that's just me :) still great price. Thanks!

  • I just got one in DSE Beenleigh today and there were still two left, if someone is interested.
