Graphics are good, rest everything is bad. One of the worst games I've ever bought. IGN review which says "deserves its place in the RPG pantheon" LOL. This game deserves to be flushed down the to*let to be never seen again.
The IGN reviewer was non binary so would have given the game some bonus points for its message.

While I prefer my xbox, I'd say get a PS5. There's more variety of games that your son might enjoy.
Or get a Dreamcast

I prefer Xbox a great deal, but if you're mostly after a bit of FIFA, buy whatever is cheapest. Hell, buy a cheap Xbox One on Marketplace or something. I bought another Xbox One 6 or 7 months ago with two controllers and a battery pack for 50 total.

If it is mostly for your son, then you could just get a cheap console and buy an old FIFA game (I bought a few for $1 to $2, but that's mostly because I needed 4 games with a console trade in before). If it is also for you (or actually for you), best to check the exclusives for both camps to see which ones you like better.
Quite a lot of OZBers got cheap GamePass Ultimate subscription for 2-3 years (quite a few of them got even longer). However, those deals / loopholes have dried up. Without GamePass, the appeal for XBox reduces. Check whether you are okay with getting GamePass at RRP or close to RRP.
