Was looking for tyre-repair kits and this came up. Other kits are $25+ and had very mixed reviews. This one is cheap and has decent reviews, so worth a shot (IMO) at this price.

    • Not the same use case. One step plug vs few steps in that kit.

That's right, but I didn't know the screws were leak proof

    • +2

I have both, the screws are a million times easier to fit on the side of the road. Did 20000kms with them too, absolutely no leak

  • Would this make a screw stuck in your tyre sound when fitted?

    • I think these are rubber coated, so no.

      • Pretty sure any coating will be long gone after driving around on them for a bit.

        • Not if you screw them in far enough. If it's rubber like the tire it will have no to reason to wear unless you drive in a way that wears your whole tire down.

    • Great question. Suspect it would if you're running run flats.

Still available at higher price ($8.20)

Cheaper at AliExpress, and large and small plug sizes are available. Also able to order as few as 5 or 10 of each.

    • I received some the other week just to make the last item in a bundle deal for the free shipping - 15 large and 15 small for like $2ish.

I'll probably use this, forget about after a month, then notice a "screw" in my tyre and proceed to remove it.

  • I needed to fix a puncture when at camping, had this from aliexpress.. didnt work.. tried two and kept leaking

Don't leave us hanging.. And then what ?

      • I used the spare tyre

    • Two in one hole likely to make leak worse.

      • yeah right.. one failed and then tried the other
