      Yes, if it's actually related to you job. (IT and get a GST invoice)
      But not if you're say, a florist, and you want to do this for fun/further learning.

        Also a reminder certs expiry I.e every 2 years. So will need to redo the exams.

    AWS, CompTIA, Azure, Google Cloud:

    AWS Cloud Practitioner is often with 50% discount, and if you have an account manager there they can give you the exam for free.

    Google Cloud is 100% free when you pass their course with Coursera.

    Azure Fundamental is free when they have Challenges, and often included for free or half price if you have a big account, like government.

    All of them, including CompTIA, give nearly zero value. Some basic knowledge - yes; increased chance for non-junior roles - no. I have almost 20 of them and even expert architect ones, and see them useless for job search.
