9a seems too close to this to justify the price

    • Isn’t a series a downgrade usually ?

      • I think it's not in this case. Have been reading a bit on it as I'm planning on buying a P9 pro. The 9a is close to the pro, but has some very small downgrades (like the camera and Ram) but sorry from that it's a solid phone. I would assume it is comparable to a Pixel9.

The A said maybe started like a 'cheaper' version of the main phone, but at this point they look more like an improved version with the tech advancements (like the slim version of consoles, it's the same, just more efficient and cheaper)

Nah, it's a downgrade. Worse camera and ram is a significant downgrade for a pixel, not to mention it has a worse modem in it, so that's going to impact battery and reception. It also has a plastic body, instead of glass and aluminium. The only upgrade is the larger battery.

A lot of people got a P9P at launch cheaper than this

Officeworks is already matching this price, too.

So at this stage, the only way to bring it down further is with the 7% off Ultimate Gift Cards @ Amazon

    Any other ways?

  • The cameras are nice on the Pixels

  • Anyone know how long this sale runs for? Need a new phone but don't have the cash for another 2 weeks!

  • Which one would be better? Pixel 9 256gb for $1089 (I have 5% on top of the offer price) or the new Pixel 9a 256gb for $997 (suggested price showing on Jbhi fi) ?

  • im hoping the P9 Pro has a price drop like they have done in the states

    • I've been checking Google's site daily for this
