Anker Solix Power Station C1000 with Water Resistant Bag $1,318 (Save $300) Delivered @ Anker Solix

100

These battery packs will be immense for power while camping, backup power in a power outage (it can run your fridge), UPS functionality, etc. They are recently released and have decent discounts. If you read/watch some of the reviews (there are lots), they sound pretty impressive. I liked this summary on Reddit, not written by me … https://www.reddit.com/r/carverscave/comments/1eihni0/anker_…

This is the same Anker company that makes arguably the best cables and mobile powerpacks on the market.

The C1000 would probably be comparable to EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus, with this discount it currently comes out cheaper.

Mod note: The following products were given as example bargains but none could be purchased from the website.

The C800 is not expandable, but all others can be daisy chained by adding additional batteries making it modular.

Many products available at a discount, the solar panels and everything are all on various launch deals, coinciding with their new home battery X1. Not sure how long the sale is on for. https://www.ankersolix.com/au/blogs/news/full-range-home-ene…

    • That one has about triple the power for the same price so it seems like a no brainer to that one you linked.

    • interested on this. anyone with real life experience with it? triple the power from an unknown brand. basically 250ah with inverter and portable enough.

No way to purchase the item, there's no add to cart button.

  • The Ecoflow Delta 3 Plus is still superior to this with its better AC and solar charging rates. It is also expandable in capacity, so you can add more expansion batteries if you need more run time. The only advantage this Anker has is that it is 2 cm narrower and 2 cm shorter, not much of a difference.

C1000: Up to Max. 2112Wh Capacity with Expansion Battery (Coming soon.)

      • My bad, it can expand to double its capacity.

  • This website is a replica of BLUETTI, is there any connection between Anker & Bluetti ?

    • +1

No, there is no connection. But they do copy each other's website. I prefer Bluetti's website as it has a link to the tech specs.

This is pretty ordinary deal $/Wh. I would hold off any purchase of big ticket items until next month. With 54% tariffs on Chinese goods coming into US, a lot of goods will diverted to other markets, including Australia. We are going to see a flood of these at cheaper prices.

    • +2

Yes but that is counter balanced by the Aussie dollar being in the dunny, value wise. Now with much less buying power

      • +1

Aussie dollar acts as proxy to Chinese yuan which is also falling, so they offset each other.

    • Disagree, product that was made for the US market would have 110V inverters in the units. They can't be diverted to the Australian market as we would require 240V and a different socket.

      • +1

I'm not saying exact same product will be diverted. Battery cells and lot of other components are shared and can be repurposed for different markets.

Not a good deal, $1300 for 1048wh is pretty poor. Typically a good deal is going to be less than $1/wh for a power station.

I would check out VTOMAN options. Some good deals there on their runout Jump 1000 model with 1408wh for $750.

You go from the high end products to low end, c'mon now

      • +1

Because most of these all come from the same or similar factories in China and are rebadged in mass.

This is OzBargain. Overpaying by nearly double the price for worse specs purely because of brand names is not what we do here.

And I wouldn't necessarily classify Anker as being that much of a high end brand to justify this sort of price. Even in the world of brand names, you can get the basically the same thing from an Ecoflow Delta 3 for $1399.

This is a bad deal in every way.

    • This is a really nice price for the capacity, unfortunately I don't see any mention of wifi. I'm wanting to use a power station with home assistant to load shift my solar output so need to be able to connect to the power station.

I don't suppose you have one and can comment on wifi? I suspect it's inside but disabled so they don't need to support it.

      • I dont know of any portable power station that has that sort of load control ability outside of home battery installations.

For example, I have an Enphase Microcontroller based solar installation, and there is an optional Load Controller module that would do exactly what you are asking for.

These sort of power stations are more geared towards camping, powering small appliances, etc.

The EcoFlow River 3 does this over a wifi or bluetooth connection so I'll probably be heading that way but I'm still hunting around for better $/mWh if possible. This looks to be a clone of this Anker without the wireless connections, the description of the Anker mentions wifi and bluetooth.

Some Bluetti's have bluetooth for reporting charge but I don't think they allow functional changes like the EcoFlow does.

          • @Ricktheroller: Good to know, in that case I would say the Delta would suit your use case better.

          • @Ricktheroller: The Bluetti app does allow settings to be changed.

            • @rski: Sorry, I was referring to home assistant support.

              • @Ricktheroller: No worries. I use home assistant and have an AC180 but never had a need to link them so I wouldnt know that side of it either.
