  • Hi OP, If I sign up and join using referral (phone number), I get $30 credit - which means 2 months of 40 GB plan for free(which is currently $14.95). Is that correct or do I need to pay the first month out of pocket ?

    • You need to pay the first month, the referral bonus is only triggered once a service is activated, but in your scenario months 2 and 3 would be free, with a 10c credit on the fourth bill.

      • but we are not sure if months 2 ans 3 will be $14.95 or the price would increase then ?

        • The current promotion will run until the end of April (likely longer), but if you sign up this month you will be paying half price for three months.

                  • @SydOzber: I saw this, and also saw the seven eSIMs we sent you, we have had plenty of customers successfully activate a service today first go.

                    The team have already done all they can to help here.

                    • @Yomojo: its 2 sims that were sent 7 different and there were only 2 distinct eSim's, of which none of them worked.

                      Your customer support themselves have admitted that it takes at least 3 different eSIM's per customer in general for them to be able to activate.

                      • @SydOzber: That's just a lie, we don't use three eSIMS per customer, I see each order and activation.

                        • @Yomojo: I cannot comment as to why your customer support lied.. please refer to the call recordings started at 6:37pm and lasted 1 hour 37 mins.
                          Discussion around average of 3 eSIM trials per activation happened in the last 15 mins. hope that helps as a feedback to improve customer support.

        OP, can u share how to "lock in" the current promotional half price for 2nd & 3rd months? in other words, prepay using the referral credit? tks

        • You can't prepay the first month using a referral credit, it takes up to 72 hours to process.

          However if your account is in credit for your renewals, such as via a referral bonus, then any subsequent month would be discounted/free.

            What I'm asking is how to get the 'half-price' deal for the second and third months now? ie will the half-price offer last til then?

      It is credited within three days of activation.

        • If you used a valid number (activated at the time with Yomojo) then it is credited within three days.

  • So I've already had a Yomojo number for a month then they have this $30 referral so I signed up for my wife a number as well using my number as the referral number. Few days ago, got a call from Yomojo query about personal details for both account, asked why the address is the same, why we have the same year of birth and request 2 forms of ID to be sent to them, otherwise they will remove $30 credit from both accounts.

    Never heard of having to send 2 form of IDs just to get some referral credit so I told them to shove the credit up the ar** out of principle…and they did. They took the credit from both account but not sure if they follow my advice.

      This was a mistake and resolved very quickly I believe?

    • UPDATE:
      Got a personal response from top management of Yomojo. They've reinstated the credit for both accounts and turn the frown upside down. As a fairly new company, I'm glad they're trying hard to rectify legitimate complaints and retain the reputation.
      Retracted my neg.

  • Do credit have an expiry?

    • You need to have an active service with Yomojo, when you cancel your last service any credit is removed.

      • Hi, I have a Yomojo number that can receive calls/texts but does not have any credit. Can that service receive bonus credit with referrals? I've had numerous people asking for referral, but got no credit so far.
