Good price for a 5 pack from a decent brand. The RRP is ridiculous but these are good cables. They come in an OEM Anker box.

How can you tell from a picture?
It speaks a thousand words
JPEG artifacting on the thumbnails- the proper sized photos are remarkably detailed.
Braided Anker cables have in my experience been very good, slightly preferred over other brands. I say 'slightly' because it's just cable.
Unfortunately, A-C cable should be consigned to history.
Let's not be too dramatic. Lots of people still use A-C cables.
They come in an OEM Anker box.
They sure do. They just slapped a shipping label to the front of my box. The box wasn't in great shape but I suppose it doesn't really matter too much for cables. They seem fine. 6FT can be a bit too long depending on usage.
You can select "conceal packaging" during checkout if you want the product packed into an Amazon box for protection.
Don't always get the option. Have had quite a few things arrive with a shipping label on the box/package. Even had one arrive with just a label on the item itself and shipped as is.
Ah, fair enough, for this item in particular I did get the option, but totally understand it's not always available as a choice.
How do these go with Android auto?
Listing says it supports data transfer, so should work with Android Auto no problems, I would think.
I ordered one, see how it goes.
Amazon says 1 left, but they may restockNow appears OOS, can't locate in the app now.
Consider grabbing something like this, unless you are travelling long distances and want to keep using wired to charge your phone.

Yep, that's my use case!
Cool. My car has multiple USB ports so what I ended up doing was using wireless Android Auto, but also putting a charging cable into another USB port so I can plug the phone into a cable when I need to charge. That way I didn't need to plug it in for short trips and also it connected quicker with Wireless android auto.
It also fixed an issue (apparently by design, for security) that Motorola phones have with wired Android Auto, that you have to unlock your phone before it connects to Android Auto. With the wireless it connected automatically so can keep the phone in my pocket even.
Hmm from picture i can tell the quality would be so so.
Pass..
