I am sick to death of the electric stove top (landlord edition) that tries to poorly micromanage my heat needs.
Can anyone recommend a portable induction cooker that has a heating coil that will handle a pan that has a 23cm cooking plate?

I've looked at YouTube videos of that one and it does seem to produce hot spots where the element or whatever is, like a small circle where the schnitzel is brown and then less cooked outside that circle. Maybe he had a bad pan though that could't spread the heat? But yes I want a cheap portable XL one too.

The Xiaomi Mijia one I have is really good - can simmer. However all instructions in chinese so I had to translate it and put some labels on the dial. Note that there are two - not the lite.
do you know what sized the induction coil size is?

Can get the IKEA one for $49. Can't remember if they're still doing $10 off $50 spend for new memberships but could be a way to save some money.
