    • damn, didn't know Billy Guyatts was still around

Edit: Billy Guyatts shows a price of $975, not sure how good are they?

    They've been around since 1969….

    • Just my opinion :))

  • If you try and price match with Appliances Online (e.g. matching the Billy Guyetts price) they include any delivery costs charged elsewhere.

So not really a true price-match for those who were happy to pick up in-store elsewhere.

I can see free standard delivery and collection from billy

      • It's nearly $40 for me. They only offer for certain postcodes.

        • +1

Same as appliances online, they do not deliver to all locations in Australia either…

    • delivery is free

      • Not to all locations.

        • True, not to the USA

          Tariffs apply too…

So are these things the new c755?

Edit: nope. It's far from the c755. 350 nits and 60hz, it's more like a Kogan qled tv.

    • +3

Yeah this model is like, entry, ENTRY level. Even the old faithful C745 dwarfs this in terms of specs.

    • +2

      Basically, avoid.

    • Seems to me a lot more similar to the C655, which I have found to be disappointing for the price when I've looked at them in person.
At that price point, I would probably recommend just getting the Ffalcon equivalent. Better value for a similar picture quality. Or jump up to the C755 or equivalent.

      • +1

C655 is way better and can be found for $800 in some instances.

        • +2

This is definitely an Australian market issue. Apparently this tv is meant to be msrp 500euro, which is almost 30% cheaper than the x55 line.

Yet this thing is $1300 retail, which is only $100 less than the 65c755 retail.

So we're being peddled two generation tech behind for almost the same price.

          • +2

@Wonderfool: That's what Australia is lol. A dumping ground for unsold, older tech. We rarely get any stock of the newest models at launch.
