Seems like a decent alternative to https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/901714 for those that want 16" and non-OLED.

Add another 16GB of RAM to match the Lenovo for $63. Lenovo still has faster RAM.

Yeah, not my preferred model, holding out for old 780M stock personally. Faster GPU at the loss of the AI gimmicks.

      • I want to know someone who is actually using the Ai gimmicks tbh.
copilot is a bad joke tbh.
plus you need an internet connection to use it (so why even use it on your pc)

From the same Lenovo Education Store in the other post you can get the ideapad 16" 2-in-1 for the same spec at $1374.63 after discount, but this comes with a pen and is a 2-in-1:

Didn't bite on either myself, waiting for an 880M model or at least a 780M, 860M is pretty average

      • an 880m model yes please

        • Only the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 and AMD Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 have it currently. Very rare to find either.

Some of the older 780m models are actually better right now if you don't need the AI gimmicks

    • Hi. Could you please share any discount code used ? Thanks

  • I guess vivobook build quality is below zenbook?

    • I believe so, Zenbook is usually much more expensive

  • 1.88kg seems heavy, how flat is it?
