Looking for New Cheap Mattress

Hello,

I have an ALDI pillow-top mattress from one of their sales several years ago. I noticed they now have mattresses again for sale, this time it's a Euro-top instead of the pillow top.

I decided to check out 'ZZZ Atelier' on eBay which was an Oz Bargain favorite for some time, only to realise the 'Black Label' has doubled in price, now $400 instead of the $219 (pre-sale price).

I noticed 'Giselle' brand on ebay for around $180, wondering how people felt about those or whether I should get an ALDI one again ($150), or are these cheaper box-mattresses all the same?

Can you test out the new ALDI one in store? I assume you can't test out the ZZZ Atelier or Giselle before buying it?

    For me, main bed. Thanks for the links, though they seem as expensive as the mattress itself. These 'toppers' though, are they mainly designed to go onto a standard mattress which has no other layer (no pillow top or euro-top etc…) ?

  Yup, you send about a 1/3 on your life in bed. Don't cheap out. Same with office chairs.

  I only have a single & not much finance for a decent one. I'll probably wait until I get a Queen bed before spending on a more expensive mattress.

  +1 - you spend 1/4 to 1/3 of your ENTIRE LIFE on it - there's better things to save a nickel or two on.

try Melbourne Mattress Factory, not the cheapest but is affordable
can try out 1st at their factory in Dandenong sth
bought a base and mattress 5 weeks ago, best thing i bought for ages
great comfort and support

I bought one that was bl@@dy expensive 5 years ago. It is really supportive and comfortable and I now rarely have any back problems and sleep really well.
Only politicians and lawyers deserve cheap mattresses….

Got a queen zzz atelier one for just under 300 in Feb. The last one didn't last long, but was never rotated. I will rotate this one and see how it goes.
