Kids can improve their skimboarding skills

What an essential skill. Big demand in the job market for such skill.

I should also buy a kazoo - in order to improve my kazoo skils.

My kids also are in training from birth to be effective worker drones

      • I never said kids shouldn't have fun. But that's different to calling this a "skill" to develop.

I have skim boarding on my resume and you'd be surprised how many times I get asked about it…

      • I have water boarding on my resume and it never gets brought up

It would if you applied for the CIA.

    • I think you're confusing "skill" (ability to do something well, through practice/experience) with "qualification".

      • No I’m saying learning this skill serves absolutely zero practical purpose.

Like schools who encourage kids to focus on sports/music/arts when for the vast majority these skills won’t lead to employment.

Having hobbies and being healthy is import. Turning those hobbies into “skills” at the expense of academics is very risky for the future.

        • I guess it's all about balance then, in skim boarding, and in life ;-)
