Who would want this memento !!

The 4 people that negged you, and Tony Abbott

      • How do you know Tony is not the one of four?

    • Based on the considerable price reduction from $19.95 to $4, apparently not many.

    $9-39 shipping kills the deal

For those in the NT it’s $39… Or just buy 23 mugs to qualify for free shipping.

It's actually really hard to find the perfect cup/mug. Here's what I want:
    1. Fine bone china,
    2. Curved top edge,
    3. Good quality gold rim,
    4. Gentle reduction in diameter toward the bottom, (but not so much it's too easy to tip over),
    5. More volume than a teacup, but not a huge mug size.
    6. Not plain coloured.

1-3 so it feels nice. 4 keeps the tea warmer (lower surface area to volume).

so it feels nice. 4 keeps the tea warmer

Try double-walled glass, e.g. Bodum. With or without handles. These days, bone china is for display more than drinking.

      • Tried them some years ago. Too thick. They don't actually keep it much warmer (the ones I had didn't have lids). They just don't feel hot to hold.

I have a Thermos mug (double walled) that has a lid. It does keep stuff warm longer (good for brewing if you're using a teabag), but it has vertical steel sides, so not got the nice curved edge.

It's not hard to find some of the 'desirables', but very hard to find a mug with all of them.

1 is a must have. (I didn't know if you put a hash mark it makes things bold!)
