The special buys section on the Aldi website used to be basic and easy to understand. The new website feels clunky.

    • +1

      Yeah, it's terrible

    • +4

Yeah, I'd have to agree, although I do appreciate the higher quality product images. The resolution of the product photos on the old site was terrible!

    • +1

Same with Costco, their monthly special used to be a simple PDF, now downgraded to some mag viewer (Joomag) that often don't load correctly on mobile.

    • its all about getting you to dig through so you also find other things to buy…… and then block the script bots that buy stuff - because the alternative excuse is that a 10 year old did their website and that's against worker abuse regulations :P

  • 20km real range.

  • Just curious, where's the battery held?

    • From power bank that you keep on pocket, cable running down to the scooter.

  • Is is this actually the E2? the specs don't align with the specs everywhere else

  • Good luck on bumpy road.

    • Bend your knees, helps to reduce shock

    • pneumatic tyres can help with things a lot

  • -3

    any deals on foldable ebike?

  • +2

Those are not pneumatic tyres, not in the photo, and not in the E2 specs.

This could be a good or a bad thing, but FYI.
Glad I got the one posted from Target at Xmas for 199 ! Similar, but faster.

    • +1

How would you rate the Target one? Are you happy with it?

      • +3

I'm very happy for what it is. Certainly no replacement for the bike or car :-)
These things are good for a few km on smooth roads or paths.

  • +4

Can't use in NSW legally anyway.

    • +7

Yet everywhere I see people riding like crazy.

      • +3

Will stick with my bicycle sigh

        NSW sucks

        • But i see people on personal escooters anyway in Syd…
          Who has actually got fined

Cops dont care when they arent being instructed or being called out due to incident
I see cars parked in no stopping area and 4 cops just walk pass going to get dinner…
A different day 2 came back from getting coffee.

        • +1

          Victoria says hold my beer.

    • +3

Similarly to vaping and public masturbation

    • -2

Can't use in NSW legally anyway.

      Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V

Of course you can. The laws only apply to public roads and paths. It's quite legal to use on private property.

  • @tempting indeed

  • Waiting on a G2 Max deal now the G3 is out.

  • +1

I bought one of these things 25 years ago. They are good and strong. Back then they were cheaper around $200. Good quality and should last at least 50 - 100 years if you oil the bearings and change the tyres every 10 years.

    • Still not better than a camry

      • +1

Ahh the good old Ozbargain vehicle of choice, a 2001 Camry. Same Ozbargainers pre order games and the Switch 2…

        Duality of man.

    • Thanks, now go back to the future, check 3-4 powerball winning number from our time and DM me.

    • err what

  • +1

Max weight 90kg, yep counts me out hahahaa

  • Try taking this up a slight incline and tell me it's worth it.

  • Dud. Better to pay bit extra get something that goes decent speed and last more than 25 mins

    • +1

      any suggestions?

  • -2

Even name brand items, when bought through Aldi, become ewaste garbage.

  • +2

This or the Xiaomi Scooter 4?

  • I'm 102kg. I also need it to go up hills. If not this one, what model should I buy?
