This is only for the grey colour. Thought it was good price .
I was actually looking for 40gbps SSD enclosure for cheap but still searching.

USB 4.0 is only 40Gbps? What supports 80
Seems it's only PCI 4.0 so up to 7GB/s max still; won't do 10GB/s
Not sure many laptops have thunderbolt 5 yet
I don't recommend this model. It uses a plastic clip to hold the nvme drive down rather than a screw. It keeps popping out, causing the drive to disconnect.
I have 2 of these, they're great. They have a rubber clip where you would usually use a screw, i never have any issues with drive popping out and i swap nvme drives in and out all the time. The fact that it doesn't have a screw is what i like about it, easy to change drives.
Thanks for the info. I did notice a small number of reviews had the same issue as me, maybe it's a defect in the clip, but I'd prefer a more secure Mechanism. I'm using the included thermal pad, which I don't think is helping as it provides resistance when siding in.
Doing a lot of Windows imaging from USB sticks.
Takes around 20 mins from the USB 2.0 memory sticks I have.
Can this make it any faster? These PC's do not have USB 3.0 ports, only USB 2.0
No, you're limited by the USB 2 ports, so long as the USB 2 stick can saturate the full bandwidth of USB 2.0 (not hard). This will not help you at all. Better to shove a usb 3 card in them when you do the image if you can. Then yes it will help you.
Ah crap, would have loved to shave some time off the process.
These are AIO's that run specific equipment. They get replaced every 10 years, no upgrades possible.
While not common or cheap, have you looked at PXE/Ethernet options?
I have these newer ones and would buy more. They work well with the Team MP33 2tb drives I have in them. They do get hot to touch with heavy workloads. From memory they have a screw to mount the drive rather than the plastic clip in the older ones as discussed above.
I got a 20% discount on that one as well which made it $1 more than the older model.
Don't need it - have the older model and it works without issue, but if I were buying another - sure would buy this instead.
These guys have an 80Gbps one too that was recently released
