Reminder: Sony have increased prices in Australia in order to offset the price increases American consumers are facing due to tariffs. While this only impacts gamers currently, it's just another company taking the Australian consumer for granted.

    • Yep boo sony. Saw an email this week saying their PS plus annual subscription was increasing to $215 per year.

      • Yeah, disgusting that PS+ essential has gone from I think original $69.95 a year to $79.95, now they want $102.95 a year… for what? A few games each month that we probably won't ever play and the privilege of being able to play online with other players?

It's so wrong. How about a basic plan that just allows us to play online with others (rather than crippling a big feature of a game). They can keep all their free games, add-ons and whatnot.

        Evil.

You can bet that if/when the tariffs are reduced, Sony won't discount the annual cost of PS+ or the cost of the consoles… the PS5 Pro was already ridiculously overpriced anyway.

They kinda do, PlayStation is famously popular in everywhere that isn’t America or Asia.

    • I whole bunch of Sony lens prices are down this week in Australia so I don’t think that’s a reasonable characterisation of their overall pricing strategy.

I ASS UME, you have to use AFTERPrey to get this offer?

  • Has anyone tried stacking this with the 10% off sign up offer? I looked through the T&Cs for both the sign up offer and this deal, didn't seem to mention that you can't stack them

    • Let us know if it works. I was going to say that of course it doesn't work, but the way they listed the discounts/offers, it definitely implies that they can be stacked (although I still doubt it).

      • Tried and it didn't work :( I'll hold out for a better deal on the XM4 headphones
