      • Cuckoo clock of doom

That was my first novel I've ever read. Or pretended anyways.

  • Wish I'd held onto my original books, would be worth a motza now

Youtube has some interesting stuff on the history of goosebumps, and why it suddenly disappeared.

    Welcome to Camp Nightmare..

Will forever live in my head.

Or even Night of the Living Dummy.

If only children read tangible books these days.
Even at $50, worth every cent.

    • Tangible is entirely irrelevant. Reading is where the value is.

      Night of the Living Dummy.

The new covers seem crap, original artwork was better, and the bumpy covers as well. I recall they did a reprint of them before these many years ago and they ditched the bumpy texture too :(

    • It's just not Goosebumps without the goosebumps, huh

  • Do the covers have the beveled/raised logo?

    • I recall how the ones from bookstores used to, but the cheaper big W/kmart ones never did 🥲

    • +1

No they dont. The cover art is also updated and not the original legacy ones.

That said, the books are great, we're working our way through them and the kids love them.

  • Gooseberries

  • If you have kids this is a great deal
