First time seeing A329 pro on sale after they first introduced the unit last year , and it is 30% off ! Saw the front page ad on their site but couldn’t see what’s included with the sale so did it bit of digging:

A329 pro 2ch

Really good reviewed 4K dashcam , 5 star rating on techradar

A229 plus 3ch $314.99, good for riding share or Uber driver etc.

A129 pro duo $251.99 all time favourite and most reliable 2ch 4K twin setup I have used, but now upgrading to a329 pro 😄

Finally, a119 mini2 $172.49 it is the most recommended single channel camera since a119v3 upgrade, if you only needs a single Channel set, this is no doubt the best dressed on market.

Now it’s time to upgrade and happy Easter!

      I really wanted a Viofo for my new car but couldn’t justify the cost. Did some research and found the REDTIGER f7n, thought I’d hit gold. Received it and thought ok this is very light it’s probably going to be trash. Surprising was very good quality recordings, app worked well and whenever the viofo camera deals come up, I’m like “why would any bother”….until the f7n suddenly died without reason after 10months of use. Granted they did just send me a new replacement without question so props to REDTIGER customer service but I have to say I think we are comparing apples to oranges. Viofo’s seem to be a league above if you can afford them. Ymmv

        I guess you could look at it as red tiger as the budget one. Viofo as midrange to budget then the likes of blackvue if you want high end price with the same quality video

        I've had 2 viofio die within 6 months. Can't remember the model it was a while ago, all I know it has capacitor.

          My Viofo works still after 6 years but couldn’t resist to upgrade for better quality one, I guess nothing is 100% when it comes to electric.

        The exact same thing happened to me! They sent me a new one which is great, but i feel burnt. My F7N screen had lines across it, it was terrible.

        In my experience viofos randomly fail all the time. Have owned several in several cars and friends too, after a couple years they fail.

    How’s the parking mode on the 329 Pro 2CH with the sun? I can’t run my A129 Pro Duo in summer with parking mode, it overheats or something.

      Yeah I hear ya. The same thing happens to me.
      I don't own a car cam, but when I stay outside in the summer sun, I overheat. Lol

      I have had a A129 Pro Duo for 2 years with no issue of overheating (albeit in Sydney). What likely is causing it to Chernobyl itself is light being reflected off the dash. I recommend getting a fabric dash cover specific for your car, it stops reflections and maybe that is what is causing yours to overheat.

      I've had an A119 for about a year on a car that sits parked out in the sun all the time. No issues with it at all so far. Not sure if it's battery or capacitor

      A129 pro duo is capacitor. I’ve had mine a few years now, recently had to crack it open to adjust the focus.

      It can’t cope with hard wire kit + parking mode during summer.

      Without parking mode it’s fine.
