Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro 45mm BT (Black Titanium) $249 + Delivery ($0 with OnePass) @ Catch

340

The last deal on this was $299 in late 2024 and was decently popular, so thought I'd post this one. The all time low was $229 in August 2024 from Catch. Note that Catch is closing down at the end of the month, so I guess any warranty claim would have go directly through Samsung after that date.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is a premium smartwatch with a titanium case, 1.4-inch AMOLED display, and a 590mAh battery for extended life. Key features include heart rate monitoring, body composition analysis, sleep tracking, GPS navigation, ECG, and water resistance up to 50 meters. It runs on Wear OS and is designed for outdoor and fitness enthusiasts.

The story - it went from $399 to $349 to $299 and now $249

That was within one week bro

  • Damn that's cheap for brand new, been eyeing off the watch 6 classic but this is a great price, not sure if it's better to buy the watch 6 or just buy this and wait for the watch 8 classic.

Check it carefully when you receive it, see comments in the previous $229 Catch deal for this item.

Thanks for the heads up, was about to pull the trigger but might pass based on the previous thread.

    • Yep, buyer beware. I purchased an S21 FE direct from Catch thinking it'll be local stock but as soon as I booted it up, it defaulted to the Turkish language. Upon further investigation, it was a Grey import. Thanks, but no thanks.

      • Did you end up being able to return it for a refund?

        • Nah. I palmed it off to a family member.

  • Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 44mm Bluetooth was sold for close to $296 during the Secret sale in Feb.. So, might be better to go with the latest model that has the newer chips and sensors..

I have the new ultra watch, and have also the Samsung Gear S3 classic, and Galaxy Watch5. Watch 5 still my favourite. I love the button on the ultra, can smash on the torch easily at night.. but its too thick for wearing to bed, I get fatigue on wrist.. where no issues with Watch 5 44mmm. Watch5 gives me 2 days easy, but ultra gives me 3.5-4 days. Both have LTE. I still love the gear S3, I upgraded the battery a year ago and its been running like clock work since - best battery of the 3, but non LTE, not that my other use much LTE, and its not used in my comparison battery times. Although Tizen is slower, I can have samsungpay on gear S3 and watch 5 OR Ultra 7 which is cool.

I think my favourite style is the Gear S3, Watch 5 for thinness and easy wear, Ultra for any long runs or hardcore battery need on LTE.

    • Agree, it's definitely not a watch for sleep tracking. I used to have one and it was way too chunky for my liking. YMMV. I think the Fit3 has a good form factor all round.

    • How did you upgrade the battery on the S3 Classic?

Bought it off Amazon, $30, my wife took it to a guy in a campsie who installed it. Was actually a watch guy not a phone repair surprisingly because i couldnt get the watch screws out. Cost about 25.

Watch runs better than new and is snappy and good to use now.. clearly the slow stuttering was the low power. Easy 4th day.

        This is it.

Have this watch and it's great but I keep going back to my Huawei GT2 purely for battery life.

  • And now we wait for the grey import comments.

  • Man my GW 4 just Green screen of death and samsung wouldn't repair it so i need a new one :D
Looking for one under $200 for a 5 or 6 second hand

  • In Italy right now. I normally wear Garmin Epix Pro but forgot to bring the charging cable (doh!). Went to one of the store (Euronics) and they wanted €49 for the cable and had to order it in. Saw Watch5 Pro on clearance for €65 (or $120) in titanium and just bought it.

Been wearing it for 10 days and gives about 3.5-4day battery life which is not comparable with Garmin but pretty good for a ‘smart watch’! Little chunky but relatively light and easy to see in the sun for AMOLED. The strap it comes with will go first when I am back.
