    wow!!!! I was thinking about getting one too, until I read the comment saying "shut up" from someone say "our company". not very professional and will result in me choosing to go elsewhere..

    Wow, just, wow.. I don't care what the price is, customer service like this is inexcusable and not worthy of a single cent of mine. This does not sound like a company one should ever do business with.

    its ok for people to slag the company, for no reason, and offer fantastic deals but the company has no recall on its comments. It would be different if someone actually treated the vendors with respect

    Little bit of free business advice for QuiltsDirect:

    1. Don't be rude to customers. If actual or potential customers are critical of your company or product it does not necessarily amount to trolling. To attack the 'man' is counter-productive.

    2. Never, ever, threaten to sue. In any case unless you're a small company you have no course of action anyway as covered in this informative comment.

    3. By all means seek to refute an allegation, but do so politely and use whatever evidence that is available. The more rude or offensive a customer is, the calmer and more polite you should be.

    4. Use proper grammar when responding to customers or comments.

    5. Review business practices that appear to be contributing to customer dissatisfaction. Rectify if possible.

    6. Keep in mind that price is not everything - customer service is also a key factor for many people.

    7. Keep in mind that comments on forums are forever, thus the need for even more care when posting.

    8. Never, ever, threaten to retaliate in response to any criticism (such as suggesting their order will be dealt with late).

    9. Perhaps acknowledge that you could have dealt with some past customer issues a little better.

    Do all this and maybe you can recover sufficient credibility within the next 3-5 months within the OB community to make posting a much more peaceful & productive exercise.

        And also you're right, private messages would have been more appropriate, but instead of instigating a PM like a good company representative would and taking the higher road, you instead retorted on public forums with petty & childish name calling, telling others to shut up, and threats of suing for slander, and thus looking like the immature one. I'll be surprised if you're still in business in a few years time with horribly low ethics and practices like yours.
