I wanted them to confirm if this will be covered by Ergobaby a warranty. I pretty much wanted to hear that this isn't fake and all g.
The price is too good to be true. Plus I did read a few horror stories.

@Oh Daddy: Just to add, yes there are good copy clones out there but some of the risks include suffocation, overheating, poor neck support and/or hip damage to the child.
Some of the best known brand names also require checking to ensure their designs are fit for purpose.

I agree. This is sus. Posting counterfeit goods against the rules, surely.
They're 50$ on AliExpress. Can't see the difference if it is real or fake. But for 50$ its better than anything else I tried and can't imagine paying 250$ more would make the experience better/safer or more comfortable unless it comes with someone to carry the baby also.

It's solid as, plenty of padding and definitely won't snap. I did try a cheapo for 20$ to see if he'd like it and even that was fine but he's getting bigger now.
It's all crap made in china anyway. If you feel better paying 300$ for the box go ahead.

I see these deals and think "Oh, that's looks good." Then I remember that my "babies" are about 20 and bigger than me. When the hell did that happen?!
As a new dad I feel there is a massive markup on certain baby products. A lot of stuff is made in China and the differences between different brands are often very minor or cosmetic. If you can buy a cheaper version on AliExpress with decent reviews I would go there and save your money for things like child care or school fees when they’re older.
It sure how much you think childcare and school fees are. But saving $250 bucks by buying a knockoff ergobaby isn’t going to help much.
It is if you resell them at 30% off the RRP on Marketplace.
Every little helps, the best thing I bought was a 20$ bouncer off marketplace. Anything else was a waste of money, fun for about 5 minutes.
Pretty low chance that’s going to be legit. I can see they seem to exclusively sell ergobaby products way below retail. Doesn’t pass the sniff test.

I wouldn’t trust eBay for anything these days unless it comes from the manufacturer/known supplier directly. Absolutely riddled with counterfeit crap now.
Funny how the eBay code is an anagram for a word that isn't what you'd want the quality to be
Even Amazon ones could be fake, what more eBay. Bought one from Amazon with the store name Ergobaby AU, turns out to be fake and unauthorised.
FB Marketplace ones could be fake too, from owners who unknowingly bought from the fakes and selling them after baby outgrows it.
Best to get direct from Ergobaby website.
I bought this a few months ago from the same ebay seller - can confirm its real, high quality, comes in original box etc It's likely overstock
@lngnnk, as per @bargyhunt above, I purchased the Ergobaby Omni Breeze version of this from the same seller for $175 (everywhere else was $279+) recently. It's a proper original box and is high quality. Definitely not a fake.
I believe it's fake, I reached out to them a few weeks ago and they never responded. There are a lot of fake Ergobaby products across eBay and Aliexpress, and don't reckon this is real.
