I put my order through, go up to the counter and tell them "I just made an online order under the name of CodeXD and I want to claim my survey drink". Then I show them the email on my phone. This has always worked.
Yeah, walk in would be the easiest.
I don't know if they intentionally make it difficult to claim at drive through or the people assigned to work at drive through are generally difficult people. I don't remember ever getting a free drink at the window, so always walk in now.
@browser: Drive through you should be able to tell them in the first window after making your order.
I've never seen they put anything into the register, they look at the date and code in email and hand me the drink.
