I plugged in my Pixel 8 Pro and my iPad mini 7 into my monitor and it works fine. No power source needed

Got mine today; great value for $72!

Now to find a decent portable monitor stand for my WFH set-up …

Got mine today and impressive. Seamless on laptop but I'm having trouble connecting to my Pixel 7 Pro, doesn't seem to work?

    • does this require another power cable to go to the monitor?
or it can be powered by usb-c to the laptop etc?

      • It depends on your device. In my case, it can be powered by USB-C

        • does it come with usb-c power plug or dc jack type of power plug?

also what cables do we get with this?

          • +1

@pinkybrain: It just comes with one USB-C to USB-C cable, and one mini HDMI to HDMI cable.

  • Got mine yesterday. It works amazingly well with Alldocube 60 Pro with no extra power! On a different note: can you turn off the screen on the alldocube when plugged into monitor to save power on the tablet?

  • Need some help, why I cannot use the USB C to C cable or my HDMI to Mini HDMI to work but only work their supplied cables?? My cables aren't old and are 100w cables

    • +2

The USB-C cable must be specified to carry the data bandwidth required for video.

For me, most of the USB-C cable I've bought dont work for video - I guess they were just sold as charging cables.

So take care of the cables provided with the monitor purchase

      • Good price.
But still 14% of the purchase price of this portable monitor, so hopefully the supplied cable lasts.

        • It comes down to if you need it.

  • Dammit, missed this

  • Received mine days ago but only started testing it seriously today, did anyone reckon the in-built speakers are kind of weak?
Also Is the cover completely detachable?

    • +1

I'm not complaining about the speakers for the price I paid for it.

Yes it is; it's attached by Velcro
