    Yes, KYC is required for this too.
    It’s a government regulation in Indonesia for all eSIMs with local phone numbers. You’ll need to submit a clear passport photo, arrival date, and IMEI number for activation and device registration. Let us know if you need help with the form!

    To complete the KYC process (required for all eSIMs with a local Indonesian phone number), please submit:
    - A clear photo of your passport: required by Indonesian government regulation to verify the identity of foreign users
    - Your IMEI number: needed to register your device so it can connect to Indonesian networks (as per Ministry of Communication rules)
    - Arrival date: helps us activate your eSIM at the right time
    - and other contact information (email, name)

    These steps are mandatory under Indonesian telecom and customs regulations to ensure all devices and users are properly registered.

  I ordered this a few days ago, got the email to say it had been activated ready for my arrival this afternoon and I just activated the esim on my phone and got the welcome messages.
