How this is better than the Chinese?

    • +6

because you can change the faces of the watch and not the Chinese , unless its Plastic Surgery, then they will look Korean

  • Do Samsung watches work with iOS yet or still require a Samsung phone?

    • +2
    • They used to up until the Galaxy Watch 3 I believe, but now they only work with Android

      • -1

        Android*, yeah.

Sucks they refuse to support iOS properly

        • +1

Blame apple, really poor access to phone notifications and functions with their API's

        • -1

Like Apple refuses to let anyone not using iOS use their stuff?

If you wanted the other colours, the white is cheaper on the website.

  • Don't, it's a pain to deal with warranty on grey stock

    • afaik there is no warranty in australia if you buy grey.

Samsung AU has no responsibility to honor warranty on grey stock. only certain brands offer global warranty on certain products such as Apple (e.g. you buy a iPhone in the US, and need replacement in AU), but I have even heard people being turned down by the Apple store as well.

if you buy grey, your warranty is in the country you bought it from. so basically yes pain in the ass because you have to PAY to send it back to the country it came from, make sure they get it etc then whatever Samsung feels is ok is ok.

fyi after paying to send it international they can still say some reason not to fix or replace for free, so yes don't do it.

      • I spoke to Amazon about this watch, they said it has a two year warranty. It would be better to buy it through them and they can sort out the warranty for you.

        • sold and fulfilled by becextech so you still have to deal with them directly via Amazon messaging perhaps. Make sure you asked about this listing as Amazon AU has its own listing on this same product and they might have thought it was that.

And yes to above, Samsung AU wont touch grey imports.

  • Does it support esim in Australia?
